Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken Information Technology and there are around 60 students in my class, the curriculum is good, and we have the same curriculum as CSE there is no difference at all. The only difference comes with faculties. I would say the CSE students have better faculty than the I.T students, as the faculty taking classes for I.T take different subjects at once. I mean there are no specialized facilities for each subject.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is around 1.8 lacks and if you score a better rank in the srm exam you can get a scholarship of up to 30 percent on tuition fees. Ya srm is known for placements you can get placed at a decent company if you have an average score in your semesters and have a few skills. You may not get any financial assistance.
Campus Life
We have many campus life programs every two weeks and there are big events that occur in the month of march like cultural. If you are well connected to the students and interactive it will help you a lot. And about books, it's not useful as you will have ppt. If you are a sports player then this place is not for you. There are no proper grounds, but they are constructing an indoor cort to play. If you join by the year 2025 you might be able to access them.
Admission
We had an srm exam and it was a proctored exam, so it's mostly on knowledge and about eligibility you have to have at least 75 percent in your board exams. The application portal will be open in June mostly and you can find it online by just typing SRM admission portal. And about the fee, it can cost around 1500rs. And after you apply you will get the exam dates. The admission process is good and will maintain my the college.
