Likes
- Faculties. As all the professors are helpful and always appreciated the students not in study but in extra curricular activities also.
- Location. As it is easily rechable from all means of transport. Specially from train as just behind the college there is station, so students nearby 40 km can reach college easily.
- Curriculum and placement. Nit raipur has best cirriculum in middle India and best teaching faculties.
Dislikes
- Campus. The campus is very small and not used properly.
- Infrastructure. The infrastructures is too old and need renovations.
- Hostel accommodation. As there is limited seats in hostel and the total seat is not the half of the required seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
In a range of rank - 30K to 40K in the Home state only electrical is available as the highest option. Faculty : student:- 20: 90. Faculties Qualification:- All are Ph.D. in respective subjects. Review - Faculties are good. Some of them are highly dedicated and some need improvement in vocabulary & pronunciation. Some also need dedication towards teaching as they know much but need the motivation to teach students. While all are good. The time exams are good and held effectively, and punctually, and no scope for cheating. Difficulty:- Medium. Questions cover the whole syllabus with moderate difficulty in analyzing but bit lengthy in writing.
Internships Opportunities
Companies:- NNODC, NTPC, ONGC, Power grid, Infosys, Wipro & amazons. Role in an internship:- HR, Software engineer & finance consultant. The internship and placements training is given by nit Raipur's training and placement cell which comes directly under the development cell and dean of development.
Placement Experience
After 6 semesters students can avail of placements. 101 companies visited and 738 offers were made last year. Companies like amazon, Facebook, Infosys, Wipro, NTPC & power grid come for placement. Highest :- 85 LPA Average:- 10.1 LPA Students having placements:- 70% and above. I will join IT companies as a software engineer.

Total tuition fees of 4 years:- 5,60,000/- Total hostel fees of 4 years:- 1,80,000/- The total cost of engineering:- 7,40,000/- There is a good and justified opportunity for scholarship as given on the basis of the financial conditions of the family judged by income certificate. Name- Merit Cum Means scholarship. Financial assistance is given by various clubs & committees like finance club, placement & training. Job-giving companies:- Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, power grid, NTPC, etc.
Campus Life
Life is good on campus. A beautiful 200-acre of campus is there. Annual fest month 1). E-summit - November 2). Summer - January 3). Eclectika - February All types of Curriculum Books are available. Encyclopedia and journals are also available. Sports:- We have a cricket ground, badminton court, and NCC on our campus. For extra curricular, you can do acting, drama, theater, sports, debate, entrepreneurship training, technology club, etc. Click club for photography and all the clubs mentioned above are run by students for the students.
