Remarks

As per our university, students who passed with 50% in 12th science with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (state board/CBSE) are eligible to take admitted to BSc. (Hons.) Microbiology. For admission, the application form is available online on our university website, and also the form can be collected offline from our university office. Not availed In me, the admission process doesn't need any improvement as it is up to the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I found it very interesting and there are lots of opportunities further in this field as per research and working aspects. The faculty ratio is proper and sufficient as compared to the student ratio. Most of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The teaching method is very supportive and qualified. We have a semester and internal exams and it was regular as per the schedule and the difficulty level was based on the subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Many companies like Zydus, Zytex, Alembic, and Sun pharma offer internships in the Quality control (microbiology) department. The companies do not offer a stipend for an internship but offer a stipend for an apprenticeship.

Placement Experience

4

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Zytex, Zydus, Alembic, Sun pharma, etc. have visited our university and have given plenty of lecture classes along with internship offers. 22 lakh to 24 lahks per annum is the average salary offered. More than 70% is required but along with that students are placed based on the knowledge they are having.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per our course, and the year we enrolled, the annual fee structure was 27000 per year. The university provides scholarships to SC/ST/OBC categories. The scholarship is also given on the basis of marks obtained.

Campus Life

4.5

Fests like Maniac week, Euphoria, Illuminati, etc. are conducted in the months of December, February & March. Books related to all subjects required for reference are available at the library. All required basic needs along with a projector facility are available in the classrooms. Sports like cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis, etc. along with gym are available and in extra curriculum, cultural activities like dancing, singing & drama are there.
