Course Curriculum Overview
IIPS is one of the best institutes in Central India in terms of many things. I chose this course because MCA is one of the popular courses here among students. The faculty here is highly qualified and the teaching methods are good. There are moderate levels of term exams so if one focuses and studies well he/she can pass.
Internships Opportunities
Various seminars and boot camps are organised each year for internship opportunities for students and for upgrading skills. Various web development companies and entrepreneurs come for seminars that offer internships.
Placement Experience
The campus placements here are good as the average package is 6 lakh per annum and the highest was from the previous batch 1.13 crore per annum. If you're in the integrated course you're eligible for placements from the 7th semester that's the time when companies arrive for the placement drive. Hundreds of companies arrive here for the placement drive. The percentage of students getting placed is high.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarship options available like the Medhavi scholarship, MPTAAS scholarship for OBC, etc if you're from the reserved category but if one is from a general category then the fees can be costly for him/her.
Campus Life
There are various separate fests for each course but the biggest cultural fest of the year is EXPRESSION and it's so amazing and there's also an annual sports event SYNERGY. There are 2 libraries in the college and wide availability of books and you can also opt for the central library of DAVV. There are so many clubs and each club organises activities from time to time. a student can join up to 4 clubs. Clubs are managed by senior students and a faculty is in charge of the club, you can join them can be part of interesting activities. Classrooms and labs are fine.
Admission
For admission to DAVV, you have to compulsorily give the CUET examination and based on the score of CUET you gets admission at IIPS and any other college of DAVV. Besides that, there is CLC (college-level counselling) which occurs when there are some seats left and admission takes place in CLC on the basis of your 12th class percentage. You can get reservation benefits as it's a government Institute.
