I gave IP university entrance examination. I scored 11 th rank. Its a govt. engineering college and its fees is cheap.There were 2 course that time Mechanical and electronics and communication. Each had 60 seats. I was interested in mechanical course.There is entrance exam and candidate who score within 200-300 rank can get engineering college.

Course curriculum is good covers all parts 7th sem electives-Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, Solar Energy, Personnel Management , Metal Forming, Computer Aided Design .8th sem electives Advanced Methods of I.C. Engines, Emissions &Pollution Control, Financial Management , Power Plant Practice.

No companies come , you only have to apply and there is no stipened offered to students.College gives approval to go for internship but they don't provide help to get students placed for internship.

Infosys 3.25 lakh p.a, Maruti- 4.2 lakh p.a, Godrej 4.2 lakh p.a, Microsoft 5 lakh p.a, Tata AIG 5 lakh p.a, out of 120 -102 were placed during year 2015.

There is farewell party and they call local guitarist and dinner is there.Technical festivals are held once but they are not big.Technical festival is there where Anugoonj:- The Annual Cultural Festival organized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Around 120 affiliated institutes of the university participate in the festival. This 4-day extravaganza is a perfect blend of entertainment, creativity and talent. A plethora of events like dancing, singing, debates, creative writing, theatre, poetry, etc. are part of this grand festival wherein students actively participate and manifest their talent. The students of GBPEC have been continuously winning prizes in most of the events.

Fee structure is reasonable and very cheap. they charge 33000/- in one go and it include admission fees of 5000/- .so in 4 year you are charged with 33000 x 4=132000/-. There is no additional charge. If you pay late then they charge 100/- per day.

As it is a government college and fees is very less around 40,000/- per year so loans are easily available to students.scholarships are available for sc/st students by the college and there whole fees is returned backWhile IP university to which g.b. pant is affiliated also provides half fees scholarship.

There are more boys than girls, 10-15 girls in comparison to 100 boys. There is no hostel facility available ,so no Hostel parties are there.In polytechnic college they have their workshops but they have their own workshops as well.There are no cultural societies.There is no difference between a rich kid and poor kid or no difference is made on basis of caste,color or creed.Girls are safe inside the premises.

There is no hostel available so there is no mess food , but yes they have canteen so there you can get good fees.

There is no ragging of students, all students live in a lovable and enjoyable environment and there is a great bond they share with their seniors.At my time we were the senior most so we were good with our juniors . There is no alumni network our college Training and placement officer didnt connected with us.But still no alumni network is there.

There are 2 unit test of 30 marks each and thus they convert it into 30/- marks. Than 70/- marks semester exams. So total there is 100/- marks paper . Yes its a hectic because there are 10 unit tests and 5 semester exam and 3-4 practical exams.

Faculty of college is having contract staff more then permanent staff but still staff is better.They have 2-4 professors but mainly they have contract faculty of lecturers.
