Remarks

The college is good and very strict for minimum 75% attendance in order to appear for exams.

Entrance Preview

Only one entrance test was given that too an English test followed by an interview. The college is very huge and with courses that are not in DU, infrastructure was really great so I chose Amity.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very vast with mandatory subjects like behavioral studies and any foreign language asking with the core subjects.

Internships Opportunities

We had to look for internships ourselves. I never got any stipend during internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are okay not that great but companies like Wipro, HCl comes to Amity.

College Events

College festivals are really grand, international DJ and composer Edward Maya was there in 2012, Salim Suleiman were there in 2013,Jackie Bhagnani was there too and many more. Nasha band was there for their Sufi rock performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostels were good enough though I didn't stay in then but a few friends stayed there and never gave a bad review except the timings that you cannot stay out after 8. Food was never abb issue as there are international chains like Subway, Domino's, Cafe Coffee Day, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't avail for any scholarship loan.

Campus Life

Male to female ratio was pretty good, there used to be many co-curricula activities like workshops, sports event, movie promotions, fests, etc. No ragging is done in the campus. No difference on the basis of religion, color, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were pretty well in college, alumni network is good and I'm still in touch with them.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
