The dream College

Overall the academic of the college is good but in the aspect of extracurricular activities the college lacks opportunities overall I'll give my college 7/10 because of the academic.

I took JEE Main 2016 and scored 128 marks.I opt for computer science engineering in MITS because it's the best college in my city and I had some interest in coding and hardware related stuff.

The course structure is really good which is mentioned below for computer science (as it is my branch) 1st year-Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, C Programming, Data Structures, English, Basic Computer Engineering 2 year-mathematics 3, operating system, C++ Programming, Computer Graphics, Digital Electronics, Algorithms 3year-theory of Computation, Compiler Design, mathematics 4, Operating System 2, minor project 4year-computer organization and Architecture, Computer databases, Computer Network, minor projects.

Yes, MITS Gwalior provides internship but as I am currently in the second year I didn't take the internship because mostly the students take internship from the 3rd-4th year.

The placement in MITS Gwalior is really good especially in cs & it. In the year 2017, a total of 414 students and 334 in 2016 were placed in different companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Quickr, Snapdeal. The highest package was given by Quickr which was 8lakh per annum and 11lakh per annum in 2016 by Amazon.

There are several various events that are celebrated in MITS.some of them are Independence day Celebration, dance and singing Competition, Photography and Filmmaking workshop, Nukkad Natak, founders day, Departmental activities, cycle rally etc. The students participate in a huge amount. Almost 400-500 students participate in the cycle rally.

Yes, there are many good scholarship facilities for the students which belong to OBC/SC/ST castes. they get 45000 scholarship (Tuition fee).

The gender ratio here is 3:1(Boys: Girls) approximate in every branch. The extracurricular activities such as Sports, Competitions are really good, especially for the hostelers. Almost every month an sports event is organized such as Basketball, Football, Cricket Tournament also the workshop such as robotics, adrino, ethical hacking etc are organized every year by our seniors.

Quality of mess food at MITS Gwalior is pretty good. You can get varieties of food to eat throughout the week. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Night Mess.In Breakfast, u get Poha, Eggs etc. in Lunch, u get a variety of food like dal, roti, sabji in Dinner, u get panner, dal, roti, eggs.

The senior students are really helpful here. They help you in every aspect If someone is passionate and active in some circuit, they will help u in achieving your goal.

Exam structure in MITS didn't leave me in a hectic day. The faculties were really familiar with the students. Exams had gaps of 1 or 2 days between them so it was not difficult to prepare for them but in midterms, we had 2 exams per day also we just had to attend not more than 1 lab per day of 1.30 hours so it was not a kind of issue.

The admission was a 3 step procedure. The first step was registration for the colleges. The second step was the choice filling was the colleges and the branches which the student wants to get The final step was to verify all the personal documents such as 10th,12th mark sheets, Aadhaar card etc and at last, the fees were paid

Faculty of MITS Gwalior is pretty good.Most of them have immense knowledge and doing a project under them is extremely helpful.But some of the teachers lack discipline in teaching. Their academics are not that strong so they don't teach in the proper manner. The overall faculty is good.
