Course Curriculum Overview
I chose financial services as a course because of my interest in finance. Being a commerce student I wanted to pursue this field. The exams for MBA gets conducted every 3 months called a trimester and it is not very difficult to pass. If we prepare well, the difficulty level will be moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies that participate in the internship drive like oxane partners, Deloitte, VANS investment, and many more for various roles like marketing, sales, finance, etc. Depending on the majors and minors you choose you can select a suitable company for yourself.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for the placements from the 4th trimester. Many companies participated in the placement drive. The highest package which was offered was 15 lakhs and the lowest is 7 lakhs. The average package offered is 9.5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is divided into 2 installments. The overall cost of the study is 18 lakhs but there are a good amount of scholarships available for a student. The maximum discount a student can avail of is 50% based on his/her percentage of marks in the competitive exams and based on his performance in the personal interview round.
Campus Life
There are various clubs which are working in the college which will give a boost to learn various things and gain knowledge in various aspects and there are fests and events which gets conducted every month. There is n number of books available in the library of various fields which will help the student to get more knowledge on the subject outside the course curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 types of rooms available: A/C rooms and Non A/C rooms. The rooms are well ventilated and there is a cupboard given which sufficient space to fit your belongings. The food quality is very good and there are many options available. The hostel facility is very good.
Admission
The eligibility of this course requires a minimum of 60% in the undergraduate. The application form is available on woxsen University's official website. After filling out the form based on the scores of WAT we were shortlisted and received interview calls from the college. There are other eligibility exams also which can be written like CAT, XAT, NMAT, WAT, etc. Each exam has a separate cutoff.
Interview Experience
There was a WAT test conducted which requires a minimum qualification percentage after which you will receive a call for the personal Interview round. Once you clear these rounds you will receive an email based on the information you provided earlier while filling out the form only if you are selected for the admission process.
