Course Curriculum Overview
My course is different from B.Tech Cse, I have opted for B.E. S.E. global which it's a 2+2 course. For 2 years I will study in chinkara and 2 years at Deakin University. The course faculty is nice and intelligent. As I have mentioned I opted for global Software engineering, sometimes teachers from Australia also come to take our lectures at Chitkara University. The faculty is highly educated.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, colleges provide internships but only a few students like in third-year companies come to campus for internships and only 10% cream is selected. And in the fourth year, 50% are selected and the rest have to wait for their placements.
Placement Experience
For every course the college assures placement and I think everyone got it. But for our course at Dealing University, there is no on-campus placement. They will give you the degree and you have to find your own job.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first two years, I am paying 1.75 lakhs per semester. And our semester is only for 12 weeks i.e. 3 months and there is no exam except 1 each semester. When we will be shifted to Deakin uni. our fees will be 18lakhs per year and fees for visa and file and IELTS is separate.
Campus Life
Campus Life is good but the campus is way too small you can literally cover the whole campus in just 15 minutes on foot. Campus infra is no doubt good as all the buildings are built recently. But the food in college is not that good. Social life is boring very less events and in events, they prefer to take clubs mates only.
Hostel Facilities
We have two types of hostels, attached washrooms and non-attached washrooms. Hostels which are non-attached washrooms are old and dirty but the ones with attached washrooms are nice and clean and newly built. The fees of the hostel are different ranging from 50000-70000 per semester and every year the fees increase by 5%. In like the first year you have to pay 50000 second year you will pay 52500 next you will pay 55000 like this.
Admission
There was no entrance exam, the admission was based on a first come first serve bases. No doubt course is exciting and informative but the fees of our are course too high it's above 50lakhs for 4 years. The reservation is available for category students.
