Course Curriculum Overview
I am passionate towards designing, so I opted for mechanical engineering. The faculty is really good and the faculty and student ratio is 1:40. All are very well and almost all are PhD holders. Teaching is also good. In every semester there will 2 internal examinations and 1 final semester examination along with labs and you can pass it simply with a bit of hard work and studying with a plan.
Internships Opportunities
You will get a bunch of internship opportunities on campus simply from your first year onwards you can do internships in some platforms like internsalaa etc., And after placements within the final semester only you can go for an internship instead of giving final semester exams.
Placement Experience
Basically, for some companies, you can attempt from 6 semesters most probably from 6 semesters onwards, and you can appear for campus placements. Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Hyundai, Medha servo Value labs Almost many top MNCs visit the campus This year some students got an offer with 16 LPA. So most probably you should maintain good academic credentials to sit in the placements and in the worse case you should score at least 60%
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a fixed fee policy. You have to pay the same from your 1 year to the final year. You can apply for any govt scholarships and There is one more scholarship offered by Pulla reddy trust. You can also apply for that one. This college is famous for these promises because of its placements records.
Campus Life
Udaan is the annual sport and cultural fest usually it happens on the feb22 every year. The library is huge and it had a good collection of books, it's 2 stored buildings, you can get any journal there. Classrooms are good, neat and spacious. You can also find a gym, big ground, indoor stadium. There are a number of clubs and forums in college which will immensely helpful to students to get overall development.
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel for girls just within the campus and the boys' hostel is just beside the college and the food and facilities in the hostels are okay. For boys, there is a lot of P. g available at their nearby college.
Admission
Actually, you can get into GPREC in 3 ways 1) APEAMCET 2) Donation seats 3) B- Category based on JEE ranks etc., You must have to finish your 10+2 in Maths, Physics and Chemistry as your primary subjects. You can get all those details on the college's official website i.e. www.gprec.ac.in.
