The hostel facility is of two varieties: non-AC accommodation and AC accommodation. The mess food is hygienic and provides for some variant on regular basis. The seniors are really helpful. They have been through the years and know the hardships any person can face in their respective courses. Apart from the faculty and other administrative officials, the seniors also help as a guide.

The examinations are semester wise wherein there are two papers: minor and major. The papers are planned to give students ample amount of time to prepare and revise. The schedule is announced well in advance to avoid any chaotic scenario. The results are usually announced a month or two after the examinations.

Political Science department takes admission on both merit and interview basis. Students who have secured 80%+ aggregate in their XII standard examination are exempted from the interview process.
