Remarks
From 2002 to 2017, College has come very far & has done pretty well in the area of education quality & placement. I would definitely recommend it.
Entrance Preview
I Appeared in the entrance exam conducted by UP technical university at that time & my rank was around 12000. I opt for this college because it was very near to my home which is in Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was approved by AICTE & UP technical university, there has been equal emphasis on practical & theoretical knowledge, there were enough seminars were arranged per curricular & from college also. However, I felt the cure was little outdated & needed to be revised every 3 years minimum.
Internships Opportunities
No, College Does not offer an internship, however, this was the requirement of the course & every student has to arrange their internship y their own to have first-hand industrial experience.
Placement Experience
Back in 2006, which is graduation year of mine, enough opportunities were provided to the students & bright enough students aware also got places in Companies like L&T Infotech, Infosys, Wipro etc. Being a private college, not many companies came for specifically in this college, it was more of Job fair, where most of the nearby colleges were invited to be part of placement.
College Events
In terms of extra-curricular activities, Science fair was the major one, where students used to make useful models which are already available in the market in addition to the innovative ones. And there were annual functions which were quite formal bit good part was that everything was arrange by Students only with the help of college,
Fee Structure And Facilities
Back in 2002, there was a system of Free seas & paid seat. The students who got admitted with better rank were offered the free seat for which fee was 19500 INR per year. However, for the paid seat it was around 70000 INR. For most of the student, it was feasible. Though there was few case among a large group of students who could not afford this fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no facility of a loan from college end, however in the name of scholarship top five students of college used to get books costing 1000 INR.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was very specific to course student is pursuing, however for overall college, there was approx 1 Female for 5 Males, however in terms of diversity it was limited to north India only. Campus life was very calm & energetic. there were different clubs like a sports club, Magazine Club, readers Club etc.
Hostel Facilities
Though I did not stay in the hostel, but as per the feedback from my fellow students, the facility was very good in terms of playing area, cleanness & overall atmosphere except food. food was not at par & very pathetic. There were few incidents of the strike also, which were addressed by management.
Alumni/Alumna
There have been many steps taken by Management to build Alumni, every year 25th Dec is the Alumni meet which is one the Grand event hosted by College management & Alumni. As of now, it is not much help in getting placement.
Exam Structure
Exams were basically divided into two parts, practical exams & theoretical exams & theoretical exam was further divided into two parts i.e. internal exam & external exam. Internal exams were also very fair & strict & in order to even attend these exams, a student needs to have minimum 75% attendance.
Admission
Though it's been while, in the year of 2002, UP tech conducted entrance exam & I got a Free seat after scoring well in entrance exam & then attended counseling t choose this college. The result was displayed online after which we visit college itself for fee deposition & then admission was done.
Faculty
The faculty was very decent & knowledgeable, this college has spent fair share on hiring of best faculty available in market & each of faculty member was very involved with their students & were available to most of the students most of the time. Though there were some isolated incidents also, where not enough resources were there.
