I took AIEEE exam and got 34,000 ranks. Then I got a chance to take admission in Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida

The course is similar to other UPTU affiliated colleges. The internal exams are conducted thrice in a semester before the external exams. The faculty that galgotias recruit is extremely talented. We are given extra classes before exams for additional preparation. Most of the teachers are postgraduates in the field of engineering from IIT's and NITs. The laboratories are also well maintained and the staff is extremely cooperative in the learning process.

No college does not provide any internships. We take a call by ourselves get trained during summer break from top companies.

Annual package for Galgotias is 6-8 lakhs per annum for engineering graduates in top MNC's. In the 2015 batch, it was 100% placement. Many students got placed in 3 MNC's at a time. Indian Army also comes for recruitment at the post of engineering professionals in our college.

Every year in the month of February or March, the college conducts annual cultural festival. It is a 3 day long festival with multiple events day and night. The Bollywood stars perform at the final day of the festival. Also, the annual technical fest is also conducted in the month of September.

The annual fee for the college is approximately 1.5 lakhs. No extra charges are applicable apart from the fee mentioned above. Since the college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, the fee structure is similar to other UPTU colleges.

Yes, the scholarships are provided to students who come from a creamy layer. No knowledge about loans on education from the college.

The girls to boys ratio is 2:3.

The hostel's rooms for both boys and girls are available inside and outside the campus in Greater Noida. All hostels outside campus, the transportation facilities are provided to and fro from college. The food quality is average in the mess. The annual charge for the hostel is 60 thousand for 2 sharing rooms which include food meals,i.e, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Yes, the alumni network is good through groups on social networking site Facebook. It helps in inviting MNC's to the college for placements.

We had 2 hours of lab for every practical subject every week. The lab assistants are very cooperative in conducting the difficult experiments. Internal exams are also conducted for labs before the externals. The lab files are evaluated specifically for every observation for experiments.

After getting the rank in AIEEE, I attended the counseling process and converted the rank to take admission. Galgotia college of engineering and technology comes under UPTU but it takes admissions through the IIT-JEE exam. The placement process of Galgotias is very good. In the year 2015, I got placed in 3 companies in the final year placements.
