Time of my life

It was good although, nothing bad about the college the faculty was a mix of educated and NIT so educated people same with the students there.

I took Admission based on my class 12th merit I score 80 % in best of four in commerce with IP, I chose this college because one of my friends was taking admission in this college that is when I heard about this college.

Course curriculum was good mostly some subjects had the same things I studied in school in my earlier semesters then later on the course curriculum differentiated as I advanced on to later semesters but the course was good with good teachers also they had foreign language classes but I don't know anything about them as I hardly attended any

College at that time did not provide internship basically students had to themselves look for internships with any firm of their liking and the stipend also was nothing paid by these firm basically the firms get free employees to work for them so they easily offer you internship

Placement and job opportunities are good with IMS, and I am talking about people post graduating from here, they can easily make up a handsome package as companies coming for hiring were good also for graduates two of my friends who scored more Than 70% got placement offers from certain bank but they wanted to continue with studies so they did not take that offer.

Wow events where a blast in IMS talk about the melange fest or the local Diwali and Eid festival celebrated in IMS I used to thoroughly enjoy them with my friends they had good events which included ramp walks singing dancing DJ movie promotions and of course the fresher parties which were nice.

Fee structure has been on a promotion at my time fee was less than what they are charging now for the academics and the hostel too and the seniors before us had half the fee structure compared to ours and the juniors who came after us saw a steep rise in the fee structure now what is the fees etc I have no idea about that.

I don't know of any scholarships offered by the college I think there is some offer by the government whereby you can get an SUL of your fees reimbursed by the government to you but there are certain pre-requisites for that

There was lot of extracurriculars you can play volleyball basketball table tennis badminton cricket football anything you like it was all available on the campus there is also a gymnasium in the campus library is also good though I haven't paid a very regular visitor to the library I don't know about labs etc because it was not my domain.

Hostel facilities I would rate 8 out of 10 mess food was not so good I would rate it 3 out of 10.ya they did not have cooler or air conditioning so if you cannot tolerate heat then it is a no go I am talking about 2007 to 2010 whats the scenario now I cannot talk about it.

Senior students were friendly once you get youself into a group they were helpful too but mostly the teachers that are the Faculty especially pooja Dwivedi ma am is a gem of a person.

Exam structure is typical basicallt the college is affiliated through Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut so the exam pattern was predictable to some sort at that time we had 10 or 15 questions given to us and out of them we had to answer any 5 of our choice each carrying 15 marks

I went to the academics center located in Lal Kuan, Ghaziabad and there I presented my credentials i.e. My class 12 the mark sheet and so I got admission based on the merit list though I don't know about any reservation system there as I am from general category.

The faculty was good and bad too, our head of department Mrs. Pooja Dwivedi was excellent she is an alumni of amity business school Noida apart from her other teachers like of economics was also good while some other teachers were bad like they had no sense of teaching they would elongate a single process so much that one lost interest and got bored easily but if u r a bright student like me coping up was never an issue
