The college has various facilities and infrastructure is good. Bus + food facilities are an added advantage in this college. The college management is helpful and empathetic towards students.

I was always keen on doing something related to medicine and came across this course. After some thinking, I decided to do Biomedical engineering. It is the best decision I have made so far in life.

The course has a wide range of practical and theoretical subjects. The first two semesters were all about the basics. The second third and fourth are the core subjects and the most important ones. The curriculum is up to date and was very good. Practical classes helped in real time learning of whatever we studied.

When I was a part of the college, there were not many internships available. But If there are any internships, the placement cell immediately informs us through mail and we can apply. This helps us in using all the opportunities that the college provides.

The placements and job opportunities are abundant here in Sathyabama University. Various top IT companies like CTS, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture visited our college for their campus recruitment program. There are other core companies that visited too. All students from all fields are given equal opportunities to apply and get jobs. Core companies like Zifo, Omics, techmahindra also visited.

The college conducts various cultural and technical symposiums all through the year. The events are conducted in a huge scale and various colleges participate in it. During culturals, various top celebrities Grace the occasion. Music concerts, dance performances are also held which are a lot of fun and entertaining. The technical events are conducted in an orderly manner. Students from various departments volunteer for the events and are helpful to other college students.

The fees structure is very minimal. I had to pay 1,40,000 INR including food and travel expenses every year. This fees includes food and bus fees. Every day we are provided with breakfast, lunch, tea. The college buses arrive promptly at the stops and they reach the college on time everyday. In addition to this, there are canteens in the college which has all the snacks and beverages that students enjoy.

I did not take any education loan to pay my fees. My dad paid my fees every year. Education loans at low interest rates are available in various banks. This is very helpful for the students.

At first it was difficult to adapt from school to college. But once you find friends, it is great. In my department, there were more girls than boys. All of them are very helpful and friendly. People from all walks of life, various social backgrounds, ethnicity were a part of my department. People from Andhra, Telangana, Kerala, Delhi, Punjab were in my class. The staff, the students, the administration of the college treats everyone the same way and shows no sign of intolerance towards any race, religion.

Since I was a day scholar, I am not aware of the hostel facilities. But as far as I have heard, the facilities in hostel are top notch. The food provided is tasty and at the same time very healthy. We are served a wide range of food items. The hostel rooms are very well maintained. Each room has an attached bathroom. Water facilities are available 24×7 The college provides us breakfast lunch and tea during breaks. Some students prefer PGs. the rent those are fixed depending on the area in which it is located. Many students prefer PGs in their final year for ease of commuting for project related work.

The seniors are very helpful and they clarify doubts whenever we ask. There is an alumni network and there are alumni meets conducted every year.

The exam structure was pretty chilled out. We had enough time in between each exam and the semester exams were well spaced. This helps in better preparation. The practical exams are conducted prior to the theory exams and since it is batch wise, it is conducted in a very organized way. Theory exams are conducted for 3 hours. There are 10 two mark questions and 5 twelve mark questions. The whole test is for 80 marks. 20 marks are internals, calculated from the internal assessment tests that we write. Scoring well in the assessment helps in improving the overall scores.

After finishing my board exams, I kept researching about college admissions. The University website is up to date and all details of dates were available on it. This helped in making sure that everything was done on time. The administration was very helpful and gave us all the help and support that we needed.

The faculty of my college are highly intelligent and possess knowledge in a wide range of topics. they are helpful and empathetic towards the students. They pay individual attention to the students and help the students who need guidance. They are up to date with the latest trends and teach well in class.
