Likes

A very big and a lush green campus ,one feels close to nature.
A main central library along with department libraries.
Computer labs are well maintained and have good configuration systems.

Dislikes

First year syllabus is quite outdated and need to be updated for few subjects.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements from the beginning of 7th sem. Mass recruitors like TCS , Infosys,Wipro , cognizant,etc visits each year and take the maximum students .Other than that few are placed in Samsung and Microsoft,last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 3.85 lac to day scholars for four year degree . Hostel cost around 13-14 k per sem. Fee hike of around 5-7%. All government scholarships, many from welfare societies and alumni association. Mess charges are extra and varies.

Campus Life

Lush green campus spread over 88 acres. Annual cultural fest helds in Feb and a famous singer is invited for that. A large number of books are available but some of them are of old editions. Almost all classrooms have projectors.

Admission

•One should be from PCM , have minimum 60% in class 12th. •One may apply by registering on college website and after that PTU councelling is there. •There is 70% seat reservation for rural area students from Punjab

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college .
