Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the subjects in chemical engineering are very interesting like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering. I love chemical engineering. Though I do want to get into the core, there are several non-core options. Student ratio is 1:40. Two minor exams and a major exam with quiz term papers etc taking place. All teachers have their phd from abroad.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

after 6th sem students become eligible for placements . it begins on 1 dec each year and goes on till 15 th dec. In phase 2 from jan to april. Each 200+ company visits for 1500+ offers. Employability ranking is around 30 worldwide. Many students prepare for CAT go abroad for MS.

Fees and Financial Aid

FEES include hostel fees of 8000 per month with mess fees of 25000 per month. semester fees of 100000 per month. Based on the economic condition and annual income of the family there are several scholarships, and donor scholarships loan facilities available.

Campus Life

Each year RDV TRYST SEVERAL fests take place. There are many clubs for personality development. The campus is of 12 acres. The library is huge. There is a separate LHC. Each sport is available both indoors and outdoors.

Admission

Gave Jee advanced and after qualifying JEE mains with 94 percentile. Got reservation benefits. Participated in Josaa counselling. Allocated btech mtech in chemical engineering in IIT DELHI in the first round. NTA conducts JEE mains and JEE ADVANCED BY IITS.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.

Summary of IIT-D

I applied in many colleges like SIT, VIT, BITS Pilani, Different branches of IIT, NITS. I had no thoughts of joing this college specifically. I chose the best one comparing with other colleges. M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges.
