Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this university because the course syllabus (MA in English Literature) is compelling. I found it would definitely level up my knowledge standards. Besides, good faculty was another reason for my choice. Departments do lack the appropriate ratio but the faculty made sure that students don't miss out on learning and classes were engaged regularly. All the faculties are highly qualified with Ph.D. and several years of teaching experience. All exams were held timely and examination standards were good enough.
Placement Experience
Students can appear for campus placement in their final year of the course. Companies and placements vary according to the departments as the university has a number of departments. Most students go on to find a job on their own. Very few students join the companies coming for campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a central government university the course fees are minimal and easily affordable. There are several scholarships under various government schemes for various categories of students. There are campus drives at the university.
Campus Life
The university library is rich in resources. It has a wide variety of books and journals to fulfill the requirements of students of all departments of the university. Besides facility of a digital library is also available that students can avail anytime while on the campus. Classrooms are equipped with digital boards. All year-round extracurricular activities keep happening. University provides ample opportunities for cultural, academic, and sports activities for the students. There are many clubs run by students in their departments and they conduct departmental fests apart from the annual fest.
Admission
The university conducts an entrance exam. To take the entrance, candidate must have graduation from a recognised university and clear the cut-off of the entrance exam. The process was smooth and the standard of the entrance exam was also good.
