Hostels in this college which are furnished
the fests in the college gives you an wholesome experience.
The greenery in the college is also good and the campus is neat and clean.

Dislikes

mess food is a big turn off as they do not serve good food.
Sports ground needs a lot of maintaince .
The number of canteens can be increased.

I choose this course as I was getting a good college which is also in my hometown. the faculty-to-student ratio is about 20:1. the faculties are well qualified and graduated from some top colleges in India.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are certain internship opportunities under different professors in different departments, the professors will guide and train you to develop your project. The stipend is not very high it's around 5000 per month.

Placement Experience

The placement season starts from the 7th semester, and all the students who maintain a CGPA of 7 and above and do not have any current backlog are eligible for placements. Companies are coming for each branch and around 50 per cent of students get on-campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is around 1 lakhs 35 thousand as I didn't opt for hostels so hostel fees will be additional, you can get a UP govt post-matric scholarship of around 60,000. The average placement is around 8 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

There are various fests in college such as adhyaay and Technika and sports fests. you will get a lot of academic books in the library, the classrooms are fully furnished. There are two sports grounds on the college campus.

Admission

The admission is through the JEE exam, anyone who has qualified 12 in science and maths can give this exam. you can get the admission form through the jee website, the application fee at my time was 650rs.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
