My experience with my college vnr vjiet

No bad remarks about my college. Our management is very bright. they always come up with many ideas for student development like shadow engineering, SAC for students, MTP cell where students are mentored, trained and placed in companies, the exam pattern

EAMCET, Rank- 13543. I am passionate towards automobiles and the other reason is by the end of 2017, Indian automobile market will stand in world's no.2 position. So we will get lot of opportunities in automobiles.

The course curriculum not only imparts the core knowledge of automobile, but also general things that like environmental sciences, management, economics, etc. The electives I chosen were JAVA and Robotics. Apart from this many certificate courses like CREO, ANSYS, SOLID WORKS were provided inside the college itself.

Many software companies like TCS, Mahindra tech, Satyam, etc offer internships to computers students with a stipend of Rs. 12000 +. Since our course Automobile was recently launched, we don't get any companies that offer stipend but they offer internships. I did my internship in Autoline Industries at PUNE.

More than 30 companies come for placements. Around 70% of the college will get placed by the end of 4.1 semester in the college itself. Companies like TCS, INFOSYS, HYUNDAI, MAHINDRA TECH, DELOITTE, CAPGEMINI, IBM, VERIZON, AMAZON, TOSHIBA etc visited in the last placements drive.

CONVERGENCE- One of the most reputed technical fests in our state where people come and participate in technical events even from other states. The fest lasts for 3 days every year in which more than 100 events are conducted. SINTILLASHUNZ- Stands in top 5 cultural fests in our state. Live wire, a dance crew from our college stands in no.1 position in the state.

Fee structure is around 1.2 lakhs per annum. Seems to be feasible keeping in view all the provisions provided in the college. Automobile branch has the least fee structure with 0.9 lakhs per annum and for remaining branches it is same as mentioned above.

Our college itself offers a zero interest loan for around 50 economically backward students every year.

Campus is very big with lot of greenery everywhere. We have the state's biggest sports complex where state and national level sportsmen are trained and encouraged. Even indoor games like chess, table tennis, Pool etc are encouraged. No gender discrimination is allowed. zero percent tolerance for ragging. Around 8 student chapters are present.

I feel our hostels are little expensive when compared to other colleges. They provide transport facility to hostel students to come to college and get back to hostels. The food is very hygienic very satisfying when coming to taste and quantity.

"YUGMA" is the name of our alumni event. Every year seniors are gathered in this event mostly conducted in the moth of December. All the faculty and passed out students are gathered and many events are conducted.

Very cool. No tension. Since we learn most of the things in the classes and mostly in a practical way, it's kinda very cool during exams. We have 2 mid semester exams, 2 lab internals, theory externals and a lab external.

All the faculty are minimum M.tech qualified. Many of them have phd too. Every faculty makes good usage of technology in imparting knowledge to students. For a group of 20 students, a faculty as mentor will be allocated, who takes care of their own group
