Remarks

Overall the college was good for education as well as placements. And it is good place to enjoy college life. I will give 4.5 rating out of 5 in Hyderabad colleges.

Entrance Preview

I had written ICET exam and got 872 rank. I got free seat in ICET 2010 allotment .MVSR engineering college is one of the top 10 college for engineering. So I thought it will be good college for education as well as for placement.That's why I opt for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is excellent one in Hyderabad. Coming to MBA, It was started 2 years back only. Though we have good faculty and good support.H.O.D is N.Sravanthi. She is a Ph.d holder and tried a lot to bring placements. Not only education,we have large play ground, sports room and Facilitative canteen serving 500 people at a time. Wholly I can say it is good place to study.

Internships Opportunities

Now a days it is not going well for MBA. Though we got good placements to our college like Factset Research systems, Berkadia, Capital IQ ,Genpact, HDFC Insurance,etc. Coming to internship, While doing project I had done internship Angel Broking limited Banjarahills on Capital structure. But I didn't got any pay during internship.

Placement Experience

Approximately 10 companies came for Placement either on campus or Off campus. Factset - Rs.2,00,000, Zenpact -Rs.1,60,000, Capital IQ-Rs.2,20,000 HDFC - Rs.2,00,000, Datamonitor -Rs.2,30,000, Berkadia -Rs.2,50,000 Some more 3 or 4 companies.

College Events

During the 2 years of MBA,We have Tech fest one year and Cultural fest another year. Almost some 20 college students were participated in the fests. Even celebraties also came for fest. Rock band and DJ events were the highlight events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I got seat in normal allotment, I paid normal fee of Rs.30,000 and Building fund of Rs 7500 per year.Nothing is charged extra except exam fee. So totally I paid Rs 75,000 except exam fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am coming under below income student, I got fees reimbursement for the total fee paid. The college management didn't pressure us regarding fees payment.

Campus Life

We have good college environment. It is located near Nadergul which is far from the city environment. Good to enjoy the college life.Having large play ground for outdoor games and place for indoor games. The competition were conducted every year for indoor and ourdoor games at the time of fest.

Hostel Facilities

Though we had hostel facility, I stayed in Dilshuknagar with my friends in rental room. So I don't know much about the hostel facilities. But the hostel provided is very near to college building. As my friends said the hostel and mess food was nice.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

The college provided allumini cell for the old students.

Exam Structure

We have 4 semisters.Only internal exams were conducted in college for 20 marks as our college affiliated to Osmania University. External were conducted in other colleges.

I opted mba because I belongs to commerce so I chose mba because in future it will be more helpful for me to enhance my skills I got a seat through entrance in anwar uloom college and I have heard that faculty is good in this college and the environment is good students got placements and internships teaching methods are good.and during exams if a student is late for a 2 minutes also they will not allow to write the exam so every student should be puchtual in their exams ..these are the rules in every college and every student should follow.

Placements are not as expected it is about only 50 percentage.we ourselves have to search for internships and placements for some extent.final semester students are eligible for campus placements.companies like coromandel, godrej agrovet, Bayer , syngenta cropwings, khethari agritech,kapil agro farms etc are the companies which provide placements to the students 40 percentage of the students got placed.highest package is about 6 lakhs per annum

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

Students at my college become eligible to sit in the campus placements from 3rd semester. A wide range of companies(big 4, BNY, Wipro ect) visit the campus for various roles. The highest package is somewhere around 20 lakhs and average package is somewhere around 10 lakhs. Nearly 97 percent of the students secure placements. After completing my MBA i plan to pursue my career in HR leveraging my prior work experience and secure a good position in the same field.

GoA excellent college leads to good deeds

Course Curriculum Overview:

To settle in the good financial sector and to improve my skills. The student ratio is less in MBA courses. The faculty is less supportive. The faculty is well educated with Ph.D. and Doctraits, Method of teaching should be changed. There was no time for preparation for term exams. It was quite difficult to pass.

There is no specific reason , the teachers were good and academics are good, proper maintenance all the time . And the college away from the city so there is not much chaos , but most of the people live in city , they feel exhausted .
