College providing a better placement opportunities

I chose to pursue mechanical engineering because it plays a critical role in shaping future technologies, including robotics and other advanced products. The student-to-faculty ratio in my department is well-balanced, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted classes. The average pass rate for all papers in my batch is 60%.

Several companies, including TESSOLVE, KAAR, WIPRO, DELOITTE, and HCL EMBEDDED, offer internship opportunities in my field. Some of the projects I am working on involve face recognition and attendance systems, as well as smart sensor technology for car parking.

The mess in my hostel provides good quality food, but the taste is only average. On the other hand, the canteen serves tasty food. Medical facilities are readily available in both my hostel and college. The registration process is simple, and students are allocated rooms based on their preferences. Additionally, my college provides air-conditioned rooms for those who prefer them.

In the field of mechanical engineering, the fee structure varies depending on the department. The software engineering department, in particular, has a higher fee compared to other departments. Despite the costs, pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering is a worthwhile investment. The college offers the Parthasarathy scholarship to support students financially, which has been of great help to me.

In the mechanical engineering department of my college, we organize large symposiums with over 2,000 participants from other colleges. Every year, my college hosts a grand three-day cultural event called Takshasila. There are various sports facilities available on the campus, including volleyball, kabaddi, and a gym for students to utilize.

To be eligible for this course in my department, students must achieve a minimum Cut-off mark of 100. You can find the application on the website. The admission process is straightforward, and students can approach the college for scholarships.
