Remarks

management eh, people dont really care. same promises made 5 years back, same promises this year not much has changed..can only hope that students aren't stuck in an infinite loop of these promises.

Entrance Preview

IPU CET is the common entrance test through which many colleges affiliated with GGSIPU gives admission. I score 6014 rank in the CET and opted for this college cuz its close to home.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Um, Not much of an expert here but I doubt the syllabus has changed much for over two decades despite the fact that field has changed drastically. But Hey, that must be the case for almost all of the colleges.(Barely passed the college, must be the bitterness speaking xd).

Internships Opportunities

no the college doesnt provide internship. One has to look for internship themselves.. Stipend is out of question as very few organizations when u approach by self, unless of course u r very talented.

Placement Experience

3

It used to be good but deteriorated over last couple of years. No big organisation comes to college.. the best hope is to go with the mass recruiters and a few startups who give a decent package. The T&P department keeps notifying about any pool placement.

College Events

5

The biggest event taking place in the college is the annual tech festival INCEPTUM.. where students from different colleges participate in events like robo race robo wars and many more.. but among the student the most exciting event is the annual sports festival where they compete on different indoors and outdoor games among themselves

Fee Structure And Facilities

the yearly fees is 35000 which clearly is very much feasible.. its a government college so the low fees doesnt come as a surprise as most of the govt colleges affiliated to GGSIPU have their fees near and around.fees is certainly something that one cannot complain about.

Fees and Financial Aid

college does provide loan facility for economically backward classes.. also there is also yearly scholarship for culturally depressed caste students..

Campus Life

2.5

certainly the infrastructure is not up to mark..its a very small campus for a govt college but there are some positivity associated with every negative point, one being that u know everyone in the college making quite a friendly environment around.LABs are very nice and well equipped, sports not so much other activities are most of the time overshadowed but are there.

Hostel Facilities

4

There's no hostel in the college.. rather the college is an abandoned hostel of polytechnic college(get the irony xd).. the mess food is pretty good cant say healthy but who wants that right.. there are ongoing plans of setting up a better campus for the college but one has to wait atleast 4 years for that.

Alumni/Alumna

there are alumni meets every couple of years or so.. Seniors are always helpful (for most parts) and thats the case in all the colleges but here u know nearly all of them.

Exam Structure

Well there are 2 minors, 1 major, Internals, Externals, so of course students find it hectic.. Nothing to be chilled about. you have to maintain attendance in lab as it would reflect well in the marksheet.. Assignments makes it more hectic. With all this its hard to train with new languages during classes.

Admission

Online Counseling Process.. One gets allotted a college according to their choices and cutoff rank.. pay the admission fee through challan, report to the college with required documents.. BAM all done.Unless of course u want a better college in further rounds of counseling the "don't freeze" ur choices.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties are well qualified and good at their job. Lack of faculties is not a problem in this college.. Faculties are fair and very helpful.. They are very helpful with the projects, assignments and sometimes even lenient. Many of them are from reputed colleges if that matters..

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
