good UPTU college

Overall i want to conclude that the students came their are of good intellect, and hard working. But their was a bit of lack of guidence and infrastructure, machineries for practicles are not appropriate and are in bad conditions

UP engineering enterence exam -2012, i got 10,000 rank , as per i rank i was allotted this college via councelling.

The whole course curriculam is available on the UPTU official site as well as almost every college will provide the curriculam after getting into college, also the official website of my college has a section of curriculam from where one cat get it easily

No. College specifically didnt provide any kind of internship, though they areanged a 10 day seminar kind of thing, but specific internship and stipend they never provide.

Placement in CS/IT was very good. It was almost 90-95% . But other branches dont get a good placement. Some of them get into IT/ITES . But students of CE/ME/EC dont get placement in their core sectores. They have to search for outside job pool. But in our college these branches dont get the proper opportunity to get into a good job after their complitiom o course.

Fresher's party for 1st year students 15th august- independence day 26 january- republic day. 2 oct- gandhi jayanti Tech. Fest- around feb-march Annual fest- just after tech. Fest. 1-2 events which was not regular. Like seminars, or any foreign university faculty comes their then there used to be a seminar. Etc

Whene i got admission in 2012 the fee was 97000/annum But in my 3 rd year of college they incresed the fee to 1,20,000/annum. Even there was a widespread protest against the fee hike. But at the end they end up hiking the fee. From then onwards the fees is 1,20000/annum

No i have no access to any kind of scholership. But there were some provisions for sholership. Few of my friends availed that. Scholership was on the basis of financial condition of the student and his family

Campus life was good. College is in DELHI-NCR area to exposure is good. Extra careixuler activities often held. Like dance, drama, music, fashion shows, etc. regular competitions were held at state and national level, faculties do support the students in competitions.

I was not in the hostel l. So i dont know bery much about the hostel, there environment, rules, restrictions, etc. but few of my friends were in hostel and from them i used to get to know few things about hostel. First of all there were 4 seater, 3 seater and 2 seater rooms. And food was of bad quality. Games and games rwlated equipements are available. Competitions used to held every now and then,

Senior students are helpfull. But as there was no placement opportunity except in CA/IT so the senior or next to senior are not so worth seeking help from as they themseleves are atruggling to get a job. Otherwise in college they are helpfull.

Exam structure was good. There were 2 sessional examination held in a semester, the exam environment was good. Faculties dont give any chance to cheat in exams, they were strict during the whole exams. So i must say the examination structure and wnvironment was good there.

I got admission vie uptu councelling. In which one have to choose colleges affiliated to AKTU and also choose branches according to their rank (UP engg. Entrence exam) then accordind to one's rank one will get the college and branch from one's list of selective college. Then one have to go to college on addmission day to submit the document and depositing yhe fees. That is the whole process.

My branch was CIVIL ENGG, So when i got addmission in college in 2012 the faculty was good and experienced. But 1-2 year had been passed they left the college and new faculty were recruited. Though the new faculty were well educated and GATE qualified. But they were lacking experience in teaching. They might dont get the proper training in teaching. So last 1-2 years of study was not so good there.
