I am a BCA student in JIMS ROHINI and I choose bca because it has great scope in the upcoming days as nowadays computer skills are in great demand. I have been studying here for the last 1 year and I think the course curriculum I great recently there have been changes in the course curriculum too which is upgraded also the faculty members of this college is top notch their teaching skills are great and I find it great studying from teachers.

There are various companies which visit our college for placement like Deloitte, Tech Mahindra etc and in BCA mostly tech roles are offered especially as a web developer, software engineer etc We get to make various projects which we can showcase to different companies to get placement

There are various placement companies which visit our campus and provide a huge packages from various companies More than 50 percentage of students are placed each year from our college in the BCA department

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 1 lakh 26 thousand rupees for the first year of my BCA degree and for the rest 2 years i have to pay 1 lakh 14 thousand for the 2nd year and same for 3rd year previous year fees was around 91 thousand but this was a great percentage of fees hike have been seen

Campus Life

Campus life is good I would say average as there are not much of sports facilities available here as there is no ground attached to the college but except that everything is great there are various events which are held by various clubs present in our college there are also various fest which is organised by our college and various celebrities are invited in the fest Talking about the classroom facilities there is a smart board available in every class and there are 3 ac in each class which feels great in summer

Admission

To get admission to JIMS college which is situated in sector 5 Rohini all students have to appear for GGSIPU ENTRANCE which is called IPUCET then after giving the exams we get a CML list which shows your rank and then from there we have to participate in the round which is conducted by GGSIPU itself there will be 3 rounds which are round 1, round 2, round 3 and after that if any seat is left then sliding round is conducted to fill the vacant seat after that there will be more 2 rounds which are called spot round after that we are allotted our final seat in the college generally we need high rank to get admission in colleges like JIMS Rohini

my best decision for my enjoyment

Placement Experience:

The college provide very good placement after the second year, provided student should not have any backlogs. The average package that my last year senior received around 4.3 lpa. Many of the reputed IT companies had vistied my campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would read the IGNOU courses curriculum has good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the syllabus is well structured and design for distance learning with study material explain concept clearly and support service study this flexibility and affordability for the main reason I choose this course the curriculum provides are strong theoretical foundation and is useful for father studies as well as basic professional knowledge how ever Addy more practical exposure life internet is session and update industrial oriented content could make the course even better IGNOU conductor and examination twice a year along with compulsory assignment that contribute to the final marks the exam schedule is convenient and difficulty level is moderates student to follow the study materials and cement on the time can clear the exam without much difficulty or all the curriculum is student friendly relevant and su suitable for learner who prefer flexible higher education while managing other responsibilities.

There is no real campus placement system in IGNOU for most UG and PG courses. No regulaar companies visit the campus. no official list of recruiters, or roles. Only few job fairs or career webinars There is no publish verified placement statistics and placement percentage is not available. my plans after getting degree is prepare for higher studies and job roles alongside

A disciplined college with average exposure and honest reality.

Placement Experience:

Placement at jims vk2 are average and not very strong, especially for BCA. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Compinies and offer Some small it companies , startup,and service based firms visit the campus. roles are Technical support, junior developer, and so on. Package details Highest package: Around average level, nothing exceptional. Average package: Entry level salary , suitable only for freshers. College does not officially publish detailed placement stats . placement percentage : only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. mostly students look for off campus placements. Employability and my plans after completing my bca i go gor off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a great course for who is intersted in computer application .It helps to create helpful ,funny ,intersting and more website and application. I suggest for add AI part in this course. Good opportunity in JIMS

I applied for Rajagiri in Kerala and got into it, then was waiting for MHCET but the results kept on getting delayed, then I also got into JIMS, BIMTECH as well but due to budgetary issues and placements the best option was JIMS. I wanted to get into symbiosis but my Snap score wasn't that great. NMAT also my marks were good but not that good for taking admissions in top 3 colleges of narsee munji. The admission process of JIMS is very simple, you just have to apply through their website and pay the application fees, then you will get the mail for documents such as 10th, 12th marksheet, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/SNAP (whichever is applicable), graduation certificate/degree, work experience certificate(in case), copy of application form and admit card for Campus tour, GD, PI process which happens on 1 day. For those living in Delhi and NCR can go and visit the campus for these process , and for those outside of DELHI NCR can give the process online. Within 2-3 days you will get the mail for the results. Then after few weeks you will have to pay 1st installment fees to secure you seat in that course....Read More

An honest review (JIMS Rohini Sec-5)

I got admission to 2 colleges IITM Janakpuri and Jims Rohini, and I opted for Jims because of the ranking + placement records, and more profound environment like it's known for PGDM so that alumnus is also very good. Which we can reach out to in future for professional guidance. I didn't get rejected as I only applied for 3-5 but 3 in which I didn't get admit is because their cutoff of IPUCET is 600-700 and my score is 1005.
