Remarks

It is a real nice and all round experience to study at IIT. There is no dirth of equipments and all latest technologies with best faculties are available for the students. IIT-D situated in one of the most post areas of Delhi is always culturally vibrant

GATE 99 percentile followed by interview. Interview maily is subject specific & purely technical in nature.

It has a very good ambience & distinguished faculties, with a flair of industry & research. they encourrage innovativeness and also you will get time for civil services exam preparation.

Internships Opportunities

No internship was there.

Placement Experience

Private design consultancy firms avg. pkg 7-10 lakhs around 50% students were placed and others opted for higher studies & civil services.

College Events

TRYST-Annual Science & Technical festival of IIT Delhi Rendezvous are very lively & hapenning.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't avail, but DSW (Deptt of students welfare) arranges scholarship for financially weak students.

Campus Life

Campus is very vibrant & happening. Academics is main thrust area. Many international students, specially from SAARC countries are regular there, helping in good cultural inter mixing. There is very much harmony between all students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are goodVery reasonable charges Mess food is good there are plenty of food options available nearby also at all rates. PGs get single accomodation, UGs its shared Power backup is there, but no AC's

M.Tech CSE IIT DELHI Review

Placement Experience:

There is no strict eligibility criteria for placements but most companies hire above 7.0 CGPA for MTech students. Many big names like Samsung, google, QUALCOMM, Microsoft etc. hire from IIT delhi. The highest package was 51 Ipa and average is 20 Ipa. Most profiles offered were SDE, system engineer and ML engineer. The placement record was 100% and all students got placed. I am currently planning on taking placement from IIT Delhi and then after sometime I will explore my own startup possibilities.

Placement Experience:

placements are offered on the campus. the last mass recruiter was google and facebook. hcl and microsoft. they hired lot of students and the highest package offered was 30lakh per annum and it was amazing. i was quite amazed. i was offered 15lakh package after bachelors but i wanted to go fot masters and hetr i am.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in power electronics that's why I opted for this course. In different iits they float the different program like in iit kanpur there is power engineering & in iit delhi there are mtech program in power electronics, control, power system etc. Overall on combining all the sub domain of electrical approximately 80-90 gets student got admission in iit delhi in 2022-23. After getting admission, within two month we have to give minor exam & the pattern of exam & time schedule highly attracted me.

Best years of My life!

Placement Experience:

placements are very good and each year the numbers keeps on getting better. In year 2022, 50 students got offer above 1cr. and over a 1000 students got placed in 15 days. The average package goes upto 20 lakhs. Computer science and Electrical departments have the best figure in terms of placements. Mostly companies come for frofiles like Software Developer , Quantitative researcher/ trader, Data scientist/analyst and hardware engineer(VLSI).

My first iit experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

i chose this course as handeling a project in civil engineering seems very intruiging to me. we have 22 students in our class. faculty in iit delhi are highly qualified and the teaching methods adopted are very interactive and interesting. we have to mid semester exam and one final semester exams, the shcedule for which is provided in the beginning of the semester itself.

Remarks:

I.I.T. Delhi is really a student friendly they always take advice from student as well as experts and professors. I.I.T. Delhi community always tries to help each others. I haven't faced any bad aspects throughout my 1 year experience. Our admission starts in the peak of covid, I have submitted my fee payment in the last date 31st July 2020, Registration ends on Sept 17, 2020. Reason that I am here is I.I.T. Delhi is known for world class research in the field of optics and photonics and I am interested in this area of research also there is no other institution in India that can be better than this in this particular area of research.I am happy to share that I.I.T. delhi starts new Department·Optics and Photonics Centre from this year (2021) which creates more scope for students. I chose IIT Delhi because it has the best faculties and a strong alumni network. Besides this the research aspects here are better than other colleges. I had applied to IIT bombay, IIT Jodhpur, IIT madras and IIT kanpur but I got offer for IIT Delhi before all the other colleges.
