Course Curriculum Overview
I chose a Computer Engineering course. I chose it because my college is providing a good curriculum for this course. There is a class strength of 75 students. In computer engineering, there are 150 students and we provided 10+ faculties. Faculties are well qualified some are done with Ph.D. and some are pursuing Ph.D. There is a total of 3 sessional exams and 1 external exam. we have to study for one month and then have to give a sessional exam every month. Exams are good at the University level. So we can pass the exam with proper planning.
Internships Opportunities
There are many big companies that come and hired students for software jobs. There are many good projects created by students in the 3rd and 4th years. Students really worked hard to get jobs at Amazon last year with 25 lakhs annual package.
Placement Experience
From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement with his/ her skills. Last year's placement is good in the computer engineering department. Amazon offered 17 packages with 25 lahks for software. Engineer posts. And there are many other companies that visited and offered mass recruitment. Last year's Highest package is about 75 lakhs and the average package is about 10.3 lakhs. In the Computer Engineering department, almost every student got placed in good companies. My plan is to join any good software company.
Fees and Financial Aid
In Dharmsinh Desai University, B.Tech Computer Engineering there is a total of 157000 rs fees for a whole year. Here tuition fees are 152000 and 5000 others. In 12th science, 80 percentiles getter students can take a scholarship of 67000 from the MYSY scheme. I didn't get any stipend till now.
Campus Life
In our college, there is an annual function called "Felicific" which is conducted in March month every year. There are many tech fests are conducted like hackathons, and du hacks. There is a big library. We can take any book from the library free of cost. almost every course-related book can find out in the library. Sports events are very interesting. There are many sports events like cricket, Kabaddi, kho kho, chess, carrom, football, volleyball, etc. Du Hacks, DDU Codechef, Sports clubs, and many social groups are there at the University level.
Admission
I took admission via ACPC. First of all, I cleared the GUJCET exam with 99.25 out of 120. Marks then applied for ACPC counseling. In a result of 1st round of acpc I got admission to Dharmsinh Desai University.
