Overall the college is fine. It is best if you want to study all time. Just be disciplined and teachers will be happy.

I chose direct admission for this college because it was near to my place, so didn't opt for any competitive exam. The direct admission process is very simple.

The course structure is up to the mark. Everything is covered in the course from simple maths to automata. We have labs for our practical knowledge. For research we can access labs and other resources whenever we like by taking some permissions. All kinds of labs are available in the college for research.

Yes, at one block there are several companies working in the college, where students can apply for internship and some of them provide stipend to the interns. The best thing is the companies are there itself in the college so we do not have to go anywhere else.

Placements here are very good for CS/IT. Almost 250 companies come every year and more than 85% of them are placed. Most companies which come here are TCS, wipro, capgemini, TechMahindra,ciscoetc. The average package is around 2.5-4.5 lakh per annum. The maximum goes up to 15-20 lakh but very few are able to grab them.

There are various events organised in the college. The main is the annual fest - Genero. Various types of events and concerts are there during the fest. Whole college can enjoy and take part in them. It happens for 3 days in around November of each year. Also there is Fresher's event for the new comers. Lots of dance,singing,etc are done.

For BTech the fees is around 1.36 lakh in first year and every year approx. 6k are reduced. The fees is high compared to other colleges in AKTU. So it is expensive. But for people with low income can apply for government scholarship which is around ₹96000 every year.

The hostel students have a event or party on every occasion. The gender ratio in CS/IT is much more than civil or mechanical. In IT we have 1 girl to every 2 boys. For BTech the ratio is fine as very few girls opt for it. Also there are various workshops organised and also we can request the faculties to have a workshop organised in any particular field. There is uniform in the college so that it maintains discipline.

Hostel is fine. There are various blocks and separate hostels for girls and boys. The rooms are fine but the water quality is not upto the mark. Rooms are sharable and also private for one depending on the money you pay. Also we can apply for cooler at an additional cost. There are various rooms but if you don't like to live in the hostel, there are pg's available outside. Also you can love in flats by sharing money with your mates.

Yes the seniors are very helpful. You can approach them any time you want. You can ask them about anything of your need and they'll be ready to help you. Alumni's are requested to come to colleges to share experiences of after passing out.

The exams are very hectic. They generally happen 2 in a day for 3 days continuously. But these are sessionals which are 2 in total in a semester. Otherwise we have Pre University Exams in which we have a day break in each exam and they are happened a month before final exam.

The process is simple. We have to fill the admission form available on the website or in the college. After filling the form with our details and boards score. Our boards marks are checked, a personal interview happens and finally after all we get to have admission based on our performance in boards, interview,etc.

The faculties in the college are well trained and experienced. Many of them are PhD's from reputed institutes. They are very keen to help us and getting our syllabus completed before time. We can approach them for any kind of problem if we have. Even if it's not related to studies. They'll help us in each and every possible way.
