Course Curriculum Overview
Business Analytics is relevant to what I wanted to learn. The student Ratio is 60:40 (Men: Women) Most of the faculties are prestigious doctorate holders from old IIMs and other Ivy League institutes. The pedagogy is amazing and exhilarating. Exams happen every 1.5 months and are relatively easy provided you pay attention to the classes.
Internships Opportunities
FMCG, BFSI, Analytics, IT, HR, Marketing, and many more roles have been provided with an average stipend of around 82000 this year. Live projects in Market Analytics, Market Intelligence, Business Development, Financial Analytics, and many more have been provided.
Placement Experience
From the 5th Semester. On average more than 200 companies visit the campus for final placements and more than 110 companies visit for summer placements. average package is 16.51LPA and the highest package offered at the campus is 45LPA IIM Amritsar has maintained 100% placements for both summers and final placements from the year of its inception. Pursue my career as a Business Analyst.
Fees and Financial Aid
A 20% salary hike is currently happening YoY but the cost of the study is still better than 90% of MBA colleges in the country Scored a Summer Internship with Collegedunia as a Management Trainee for a period of 2 months.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest of IIM Amritsar is known as Aarunya. The library has every book available relevant to the courses and the industry. The classrooms have all the necessary arrangements. Cricket, Pool, Badminton, Table Tennis and many more happen around the year. There are a total of 13 committees and 9 clubs and cells run by students.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms have beds, mattresses, tables and ergonomic chairs. Meal quality is amazing and the menu is diverse. Registration is on the first day and the affordability is average based on the pricing and the meal quality.
Admission
The Eligibility criteria involved CAT percentage, XIIth percentage, Xth percentage, and the candidate's Work Experience. The application is a pooled IIM Application. After that, there is an interview where two professors sit down to check if you are a good fit for the institute and its curriculum.
