- College do not have adequate number of hostel for the students either it is a girl or a boy.
- The campus is of more than 80 acres but there nothing special in it. Its just a big piece of land
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose these courses as I see a bright future in this field in Chhattisgarh. Faculty members are good. Faculty here are very helpful and cooperative but are somewhat strict with the notorious students which are needed also. Mostly all the faculty members here are PhDs (doctorate degrees). Which means they are having a good experience of studies. Exam happens in two months which are very easy for one if he or she studies regularly for one hour daily. It's enough to get good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Internships start after the end of the 5th semester. Companies like IOCL and HIL provide internships to students with a stipend of around 6000 to 25000. Some students get a direct offer of the placements during the internship only.
Placement Experience
After the 6th-semester students are eligible to get placements. Many big companies visit the Nit Raipur campus for recruitment with a lot of opportunities for the students with a large number of jobs. The highest package offered was 2 crore per annum and the lowest package offered was 4 lakhs per annum. A decent percentage of the students are placed on campus. It differs from branch to branch in the percentage of placement. I am planning to pursue further studies after the completion of the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the first year b.tech program is 135000 and the college provides many facilities to the students who can't afford the fee. There is no fee for students with parents' income less than 100000. There is also a facility for students with parents' income less than 5 lakhs. There are many scholarships that you can get like the Aditya Birla scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is eclectika which is held in the month of January-February. It is the biggest fest in central India. Aavartan is the technical fest of the college which is also related to the innovations of the students. Classes are well maintained. Proper blackboards and benches for students. Summer is the sports fest of the college in which many sporting events are organized. Blood donation camps are also organized in the college by the clubs of the college itself Sahyog is the club which helps the students to get every possible help they needed during their academics.
