A Wonderful College with great infrastructure and teachers

The college management was good. While the head principal was not that easily available she was available at times and she made sure that all the issues were sorted. Complains were listened to but they took a little time. It will be great if the management starts taking quick steps.

My association with Isabella had begun as soon as I cleared their entrance exam. This exam I appeared in the month of May 2013 and cleared it and my name also appeared in the first list.

I chose Economics and along with it, I studied English and Sociology. The course curriculum was detailed of all the subjects and necessary. A student practising classes daily and reading books in detail will be certainly able to grasp a lot of a subject.

No, they did not provide internship when I was a student there. I do not know if they provide it now or not.

I did not acquire any placement opportunities along the college. I simply completed my graduation here. Did not undertake any professional course. However I loved the course and the studies there, it helped me as an individual and when I later undertook professional studies the college studies helped me a lot.

I remember celebrating too many events in the college. While I did not like all of it the Christmas particularly was remembered as it was a long celebration that stretched for around 10-15 days. I remember the whole college being decorated. Also, I loved the yearly DJ party.

The fee structure is feasible. You will never feel a hole in your pocket while you pay for the college. If you belong to a middle-class family who wants to get graduated while having loads of knowledge under your kitty, then this college is meant for you. It is a must recommended for study lovers.

I did not avail any scholarship and have no idea but one can easily visit the office and get knowledge about the same.

Campus life was more about studies here. As it was a girls college so we did not find any boys on our campus. Activities were a part of the college and so were the weekly prayers that were compulsory to attend if you are in college in the prayer time. In sum a little strict but a comfortable ambience.

I lived with my aunt, but I had friends from the hostel who at the time complained about bad food and sounds at night. But overall they rated the college okay. The hostel is big and can easily accommodate many students, but you need to check for the rules within it. I have no idea about it.

Senior students were helpful and they did not pester any of us when we joined as a fresher. I remember some seniors helping us with notes too. However, to get the senior help you out, you need to be polite and helpful too.

Exams and labs are not something you will find yourself doing if you are in Isabella Thoburn College. They do not focus on testing that hard but that seriously does not mean that they do not want the students to be serious about studies. Class tests and healthy quiz rounds will leave you yearning for more knowledge at the end of the day.

Admission procedure was simple. All that I was required is to pass the entrance. It was a hassle free process and the best part was that no donation at all. Students planning to be a part of the wonderful college must prepare themselves for the entrance. It is a simple aptitude examination that needs to be completed in short frame of time.

They were good. My Economics and Sociology faculty were particularly wonderful. I still remember how delightfully we used to attend the economics classes as every lecture given was more of a discussion rather than a discussion. Short tests after a lecture certainly helped us test our knowledge better.
