Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in electrical eng. So I choose it. There are many students as well as teachers, the ratio of teachers and students is good, and there is no lack of teachers. The teachers are so good, most of the teachers have done p.hd and they have mind-blowing knowledge, their teaching method is so good There are 6 semesters, in each semester there were two sessionals exams consisting of 40marks and one final semester exam consisting of 60marks and practical exam consist of 50marks. The exam level for the sessional is average and the semester exam was a little difficult.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is good. Most companies come after the 6th sem exams, any student can give an interview. Name of the companies visited - Wipro, pie info com, iffco, infosys etc The average package is 2 lakhs to 3 lakhs per annum. The highest package was 70lakh per annum which was offered by an American company. Many students get placement, and some left the placement for pursuing higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was- First-year - 8970rs Second year- 7070rs Third year - 7070rs You can apply for many scholarships. There is a scholarship named Jamia teachers association scholarship which is for economically weak students, you can easily apply for it, and it also contains an interview through which you get marks, and on the basis of marks, you get a scholarship. Last year, there are many companies that come in placement like - pie info com, iffco etc.
Campus Life
The campus life was so good. Many celebrities are invited to the function in jamia millia islamia. There were many functions organised by JMI like last year in engg. Auditorium, shruti sharma AIR 1 of UPSC CSE exam was invited, and it is a mind-blowing function. There was a library in which you can study, and it has a silent ambience and you can take books from the library also you can issue books from the library for 15 days free, after that it will be charged 1rs/day. There is also a separate sports ground in which you can play football, cricket, volleyball and many games. The cricket ground is so big, and many matches are held on that ground.
Admission
The admission process was simple. First, you have to give an entrance exam and after clearing the cut-off, you can get admission. Eligibility - min 45% in 10th class. The application form will come in feb-march and we can fill the application form easily through the official site jmi.ac.in
