IIT JEE, AIR-2290 IIT Kanpur is one of the top IITs and also has a beautiful campus. Academics and Research at IIT Kanpur is of the top most level in India.

Course structure is very apt and upto the international standards. Curriculum if relaxed upto some extent with many choices for the students in the later years. You chose Elective courses from 2nd and 3rd years. In first year of degree, students have to do all compulsory courses which are same for all departments.

Our college provide internships to both IIT K students and outsiders. Their are some internship programs for all students for which they can apply in the 2nd year. Stipend is decent, around 5000 to 8000( for 2nd year students of IIT K). For 3rd year students, we have Internship session in which varioous Popular Companies are called in the campus for interviews and they offer internships to 3rd year students.

We have a proper Placements Cell which manages all the processed related to students' placements. Companies come to the campus and they take tests and interviews of the students and select them accordingly on that basis for the Job offerings. Placement percentage if very high in IIT Kanpur as it is a very renowned and premiere institute of India. Avg package of all depts si around 12-15 lpa, and individual package goes as high as 2 crores per annum.

IIT Kanpur caters to various events nationally. Colleges from all over India come and participate in fets and events at IIT kanpur. We have cultural fest named Antaragni which is held in the month of October, the technical fest in the month of March, Sports fest in August and other various events.

Fee structure is pre planned and always listed on IITK website. It's a bit expensive now-a-days, around 2 lakh per year for fees. But students get various Scholarships and loans for that, which are very effective, quick and helpful. around 60 % of the students at IIT Kanpur get scholrships which include Merit cum means scholarship for all eligible on income grounds, and other donar scholarships and sports scholarships too.

There are many govt funded scholarships and Donar scholarships are offered by IIT Kanpur. All SC ST students have complete tuition fee waiver, also awarded some other scholrships. Also other General and OBC category students get MCM scholarships on parental income basis which covers full tuition fees. Student loans are also easily available from banks, which have branches in IIT Kanpur campus.

Campus life is very active and blissful. The campus itself is very beautiful and full of greenery. Girls to Boys ratio is around 1:10 for UG students and little higher for PG students. We have many recreational facilities like Gym, swimming pool, playgrounds, football field, basket ball courts(both indoor and outdoors), Tennis courts etc. Students also participate in inter hostel competitions, both cultural and technical like dance, drama, musicals, fine arts etc and Robotics, programming competitions, hackathons, quizzes, Maths puzzles etc., Chess tournaments, Computer game battles and all.

Hostel facilities are the best, highly maintained and student friendly. Very positive atmosphere everywhere in the campus. Every students reside in the hostels inside the campus, we have 13 Boys hostels, 3 girls hostels and some other apartment facilities for married students. All the hostels have their individual Mess and Canteens. Joining the Mess is compulsory for all students. Food quality in the mess is very nice and upto the health standards. Everything in the campus is subsidized, so food if very cheap as compared to anywhere else in the city.

Seniors are very helpful, understanding and generous. Everybody in the campus respects everyone else and treats them in a fine manner. We have Alumni networks cell which is handled by our students and keep the alumni in contact with the institute. IIT Kanpur receives huge donations from its alumni, and also welcome them for the suggestions and managerial stuff.

We have regular quizes(min tests) weekly and mid semester exams. And final end semester exam at the end of each semester. Our schedule is not at all hectic and students get plenty of time for extra curricular activities and sports. We have 5 days a week classes. And around 2 days a week Lab sessions for 1st and 2nd year students.

After results of IIT JEE. Selected students were allocated colleges according to their choices and their ranks in the JEE Counselling. And after final allotment of college and branch, students paid the admission fee online. And then directly reported to the respective colleges on the prescribed joining dates. After joining, students are guided through each and every process with the help of Students guides(senior students) appointed by Counselling service of IIT Kanpur. And college administration is very friendly and work acc to the students.

Faculty of IIT Kanpur is the amongst the best in India. Faculty is very friendly and understanding for the students. Most of the faculties have pursued their higher education abroad and have great level of technical expertise. They regularly improvise their teaching methods to learning more interactive and easy, like audio visual aids, video lectures, powerpoint slides, online notes and other study materials etc along with the basic classroom techniques.
