As it's a new edition in the list of colleges which turned themselves into autonomous body so the administration is not impressive at all . The funny part is nobody knows the exact rules and they tend to avoid you ( like any other admin dept. ) Overall the college is good . The management is good . Specially Sunila ma'am in the admin dept. is very helpful and sweet.

IP Earlier the selection process used to be via IP entrance exam but after 2013 it start choosing students from AIEEE rank

It is good . The papers are set by iit faculties or nsit or dtu faculty so they are tend to be difficult . And you need minimum 50 marks to clear the exam. Backlogs are very common here. You have to buy books as library doesn't have enough books and students tend to hide the books in order to issue them later when their cards are free .

College does provide internship and that too a very good level of internship. You even land up getting internship in Microsoft IT , MICROSOFT GD , EXPEDIA , Amazon and many other. And if you are hardworking and perform well then you even end up getting PPO! Which usually is the case that students get ppo from the company in which they were doing internship.

This College is famous for it's placements! As it's a girls college so many companies tend to land here in order to maintain there sex ratio in the company which they anyway have to . The placement cell is very active and helpful. Though sometimes you miss out the information about the companies as the information is transferred by the placement coordinator. So a lot depends on your class's placement coordinator.

There are mainly two fests : technical and cultural Technical fest (INNERVE) takes place for 2 days and it happens to be a little low on crowd as not many people know though the geeky students land up to win exciting gifts which they surely can win by playing technical games . Cultural fest runs through 2 days and it is the best time of our life . If you are in the organising team then it will give you a liferime memories. Some bigshots of Bollywood happen to come .

As it's a government college so it's very and extremely feasible and cheap . We used to pay 48,000/- . And as compared to any btech degree course it is very cheap . After 2013 batch , the fees was raised to 75,000/- ( i am not sure though!) . Still i would say it's very economical on your pocket.

The scholarships are given to those students whose parent's income is below 1 lakh . This scholarship is very helpful as my friend availed this scholarship and the process is not that tiring.

Campus life is not that lit . However , you still can enjoy the greenery and peaceful environment after 5:00 pm . Inspite of being a girs college you can easily see boys walking here and there in the campus as the Ambedkar university is attached to our campus.

I was not a hostelier so I can't comment much on this . But i have tasted the food of mess . The south Indian dishes are yummy (like super yummy) . Other dishes are not that fine ( for eg. You will get ladyfinger with water though they call it gravy but it's certainly not gravy but just a water in which ladyfinger is floating and it tastes disgusting!) The chapatis are not that fine . You get chole bhature on sunday which tends to be tasty. The above review is based on the views which were shared by my hostel friends.

The college seniors are very helpful . They guide you like your child ( and i really mean it!) . They are helpful at every step . They will provide you books and enlighten you about the subjects and how to prepare it depending upon the faculty that teaches you that particular subject . However , alumni network is very poor or i would say zero .

The exam structure is quite hectic . You have several internals , two minors and one major Talking about internals it includes lab submission , assignment etc. The 10 marks out of 40 marks of internals is based on this ( Attendance matters!) . Minors are of 30 marks each and hence hold a very important position or i can say it somehow decides whether you will be getting a back or not! If they are below 20 then you need to be worried . Majors are of 60 marks and they are set by faculty of dtu , nsit , iit or our by our faculty and from all these papers one is selected randomly and comes as our paper. So it's totally suprise for us! Sometimes the paper is out of syllabus as well! Sometimes!!

The process was not hefty at all , it was smooth . I gave the entrance exam and after one month or so the result was out . First we need to fill the application form after the result we need to fill the priority list of colleges and based on that the colleges are alloted ( Mind you! The colleges are alloted on the basis of your preference and rank) . I got MAIT in first counselling and in second counseling i got IGDTUW (formerly known as IGIT) .

The faculty is well qualified and experienced . Yet some faculties are difficult to deal with while some are very friendly (Just like in any other college!) The faculties are very much interested in taking all the lectures and some are very particular about the attendance as well!
