GEC,surat student experience

I have chosen this course because of my family background. So in my civil engineering department probably around 8 faculty of civil engineering and 6 applied mechanics faculty and there were around 360 students including all semester students. All faculty were very good in teaching methods and they have experience in the civil field. The term exam is done at half per semester and there is paper difficulty was moderate.

Students have to do 2 internships. 1st was after completing of 6sem and staring of 7sem which was around 15 days. And 2nd internship was in 8sem which was around 12 weeks. Faculty help students to find an internship.

After completing 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. Reliance, adani, Essar, etc. multinational companies visited and gave a good package to students. The highest package was around 8 lacs per year and the average package was 2.5 lacs per year. Overall 20% of students are placed by college placement.

Students have to pay around 3500 per year which includes their fees of college and gymkhana fees. The government of Gujarat provide scholarship for students under BCK 81 scheme which student have to apply online on the Digital Gujarat portal

Our college organizes an annual tech fest in March and all department students set up their events for students' fun and knowledge also our college organized a cultural fest at the end of April. So there are around 5000 different books are available in the library. Sports activities are organized by our college every year in starting of March month and there are cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, Kho Kho, etc.

I have given the board and GUJCET exams and as per my score, ACPC gave me a rank which is around 9514. As per my rank, I am eligible to take admission to that college and particular civil engineering field. Overall, the admission process is easy and college faculty help the students with the admission process.
