Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course to become a physiotherapist. faculty: student ratio is 1:20. Audiovisual interactive teaching method. A yearly university exam is conducted which is followed by two internal examinations and the difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
A student gets a minimum of 3 placement opportunities and after 4 years of the course, they get 6 months of internships in 6 different types of hospitals. And they are provided with proper certificates and letters.
Placement Experience
The student is provided a 6 months internship in 7 different hospitals after they have completed the 4 year course. 97 percent of the students get placed every year. Almost all the hospitals in Kolkata have tied up with nihs.
Fees and Financial Aid
No fees hike, The name of the Scholarship is Merit-Cum means Scholarship under West Bengal WEST BENGAL MINORITIES DEVELOPMENT & FINANCE CORPORATION. It is a yearly scholarship that is given Four times throughout the course.
Campus Life
Nihs have 4 clubs which are social clubs and are very helpful in our social life. All the clubs are very interesting and we can become a member of any of the clubs. All the classes are fully centralized by air conditioning and smart classes.
Admission
10+2 Science with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission through West Bengal JENPAS Examination, after selection Admission through west Bengal JENPAS counseling process. Reservation in State quota.
