Campus is good with a very nice locality.
Silchar is very nice city where people are really helpful
Very old and reputed college and it maintains a very good academic result

Dislikes

Hostel quality not very good, it could be better
In mess breakfast or snacks are not provided
Being at the edge of the city it is very far from heart of the city

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose MBBS for my dream and it's a high earning and respectful job. Student ratio is 60:40Exams are easy to pass. Faculty are also well equipped. The teachers are highly qualified. The infrastructure is good.

Internships Opportunities

One year mandatory internship is there where you get to paid nearly 40k and also you get to learn many useful things which hone your skills. There are abundant patient flow which is great for practising.

Placement Experience

After 4th year in internship people will earn around 30-40k. After completing the course rural service post is also given by government. Moreover you can earn by opening a clinic or you can work in an private hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are available to apply. Many scholarship schemes are available. Monthly cost nearly Rs 5000. Early academic cost nearly 20000. Stipend are available after 4th year. Campus jobs are also guaranteed.

Campus Life

There are abundant cultural fests like JDA, college week events. There are also many sports events. Campus Life is fun. People around the campus are very helpful. Many clubs, restaurants are available around the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is nice. The hostels are old but we'll maintained. The hotel's fess are annually around 5k but the fodd quality is nice. Mess fess monthly around 3k. Many Pgs are also available outside campus at around 10K

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 5 year course of MBBS college itself provide the placement to every student. The highest package is about 40000 per month but the average package is about 33000 per month. About 99% students get their placement easily. I'm also thinking to get placement after completing my MBBS degree.

Placement Experience:

On campus placements are there . We have to do our internship in tmch itself . After that one year of rural bond is compulsory . The stipned during internship is highest as compared to other state which is around 40k/month.

Placement Experience:

After completing MBBS course and 1 year internship one gets placement. Not companies but in hospital it gets placement The highest package is 12lpa as I know and on average 6lpa 100 percent student gets placement I want to pursue PG degree or civil services

Life at AMCH

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is not at all easy like all the other courses but since this course deals with life and death situations I would say the practical applications introduction has lead to a better side of this course. This course is completedly real world based curriculum. The faculty members are well equipped to everything they teach and the methods currently focus on application based studies. This course has many exams each month and therefore the student has to study properly.

Great college for MBBS in Assam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical is one of the best professions. Great college for MBBS in Assam

You've to clear NEET-UG to get into our college. SMCH is one of the top medical colleges in Assam. My first preference during counseling was SMCH but I got rejected in 1st counseling. But eventually got it in the 2nd counseling. I choose SMCH because it's nearest to my house and locality.
