Admission through JEE Main CSAB spot round 2014 AIR: around 70,000 through csab generally one gets various government colleges but in spot round, one can get good private institutes and universities

The course curriculum is good, similar to RGPV. classes are either theoretical or practical (Labs). research work is limited over here, however, college is trying to improve the research section by motivating students to involve in it. Each semester has 5 subjects and each subject has 5 chapters...hence a total of 40 subjects in the whole degree. subjects of 1st year are common for all from the second year it splits as per stream

No there is no internship over here, so no question of stipend. however, they can arrange training in companies if a student approaches training and placement cell

Placements are good for computer science/ electronics and communication/MCA/BCA /pharmacy, but for the streams like mechanical/civil/petroleum/automobile, there is no future over here software companies come here a lot. placements are good in those companies

There are several tech fests in this college. it is rich in terms of events/seminars/workshops/competitions. it has tech fests like Kronos, impetus, D nest and events like CSI, club events and parties like freshers party, farewell party, DJ nights and seminars like a meeting of minds, tims

frankly speaking: it is expensive it's 1 lac 45 thousand per year for b. tech degree it consists of tuition fee, bec course fee, caution money, training fee one can submit the fee per semester, students get an online mis account in which they can see their current status of fee, attendance and all how ever they put fine on everything, that's not good. if u pay fee late u will be fined

scholarships are available on pcm marks, board marks and jee mains and nest examinations. if you are getting more AIR between 70,000 to 1 alc u will get a scholarship of 75% on tuition fee for 1 year only (not for the whole degree) a similar case is with pcm marks

campus life is happening, student quality is not good. gender ratio is average. extracurricular activities are organized but there is no proper channel for it, no proper supervision, even studens dont want to take part in most of the events.most of the competitions being organied goes with 2 participation, 1 participation or without any one!

hostels are nice and new. proper and maintained and cleaned. facilities like fresh water, wifi, and sports ground are available mess food is not up to the mark. there are around 350 students residing in the campus so the queue is huge. food quality is not up to the mark

exams are continuous over here. Firstly there is midterm 1, then midterm 2, then finally semester exam, in between there are several internal vivas, assignments, lab works, poster presentation, open-book test, quiz labs are not hectic, students relax/chill out during those times

I got AIR around 70000 in jee mains then in csab spot round I opted for this college. then you will get a call/mail from college counseling cell for confirmation. you then visit the LDV block for admission, then you go to a particular cabin as per the stream

Faculty are nice but the number of faculty is less. few are highly qualifies while some are simple. coming to the interest in teaching. they focus on theoretical knowledge more than practical (Which in my opinion is not good). the same teacher teaches several subjects even if he can't teach well.
