This is a hilarious question if asked by a UPTU student. We were never taught engineering actually. Here also we were having subjects like biology chemistry, each subject was taught to every stream student, there was no such difference till 2 and a half years

Hmmm... All was good till 2014 and after that there were only huge boards of fake posters which college put up as a showcase in different places of campus. It was not good at all. A big NO for placement.College will show you with different companies coming and all but believe me that all is fake. Even if you are best in studies then also getting placed probability totally depends on your luck

Yeah.. there were events held every year (probably). But your student union really needs to be tough for it, like you need to do strikes and all for getting a very huge amount of work and vice versa amount of money. At my time it was 1 lakh 20 thousand for college and 75000 for hostel. From my point of view it was appropriate as the paper you would get after 4 years is worth it, your degree! There are different scholarship programs as well if you are OBC/SC/ST etc. Even if you are performing exceptionally well then also college would give you some bucks to save your pocket money

Already discussed above.. Scholarship provided by UP government to OBC/SC/ST was there, and a lot of students with fake documents get scholarship too.

When I took admission it was the very first year of hostel as well, trust me it was best among all hostels in greater noida. But problem began among students only. I don't know but they were not liking the fact that hostel is beautiful so they thrashed doors, walls, water coolers. Food was also good.

Yes, always be connected to the senior of your college as they are one of the blessings if you know how to take and make your work out

Labs were more like ghost rooms rather than laboratories. I was a IT student and I really don't remember when was the last time they took me to computer lab! But I was regularly taken to electronics and mechanical labs (find the humour). Take it seriously, at end the only thing that will matter is 10*8 inch file that will be well hardened up with all A4 pages and clear fonts.

AIEEE counselling. I got IT steam in this college and due to interest it took me a minute to finalize it. I was given some date to appear in college and complete the documentation process, which was hopefully easy and I never had to run here and there for completing it.

Faculty was good as they should be. They were helpful if case was in their hand. They did their best with whatever they had. Never felt like I really need to do any buttering or stuff to get more internals. Though teacher will always have a favourite student but that never made other students feel J
