Remarks

The three years spent in the college was fantastic life there was total fun, if given chance I would go back there for higher studies for sure. There was not a single day when I did not enjoy I enjoyed my life to the fullest . Life at amity was just amazi

Entrance Preview

There was a written test as well as a personal interview. I scored very well in both of them. Interviewers were impressed by my English score as it 90 out of 100 they were too happy to see me. They asked me what is an elegy, which book you are reading currently etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum was very flexible and easy to comprehend. The lesson plans were perfect. All the teachers were highly qualified and I wonder how lucky I am that I was taught by soo many great people. Every year we made 2 dessertations and also seminar papers that helped us in better learning.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they offer a good internship but I never got into one. And the stipend varied from the kind of job profile. Like in insurance companies ( icici, ), genpact, Yamaha, American Express, royal bank of Scotland, wipro, infosys mainly banking sectors, IT and also corporate sectors etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

There were a lot of people that were placed every year and that to in very good packages they all got into big companies and that to at first time it was really good to know that people who used to stay up in the canteens or were thrown out of the classes got in to such big companies.

College Events

4.5

In amity there was no festival that was nt celebrated. Starting from eid, guru purav, onam, lohri, holi, dusshera, diwali, sports day, fest etc etc. there were many international conferences that held infact few music performances also . There were many Bollywood celebs that came in to promote there movies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure umm it actually depends on how much ones pocket allows. My fees was 40000 per semester my dad afforded it so it was okay for us. It's really expensive for those who's salary is less. And those who could not pay it they worked hard and availed scolarships and made there parents proud

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes at amity students who scored more than 9 points got scolarships. I am an average student so I could not avail it . But it's ok life is not a wish granting factory. I was happy with what I scored.

Campus Life

4.5

In amity there was not a single day when there was no seminar, every day there was at least one department that organised a seminar or other competitions. Even we have been a part of lot of them. People at amity got lot of exposure and they leart a lot of things from it.

Alumni/Alumna

One of my senior Astha Arya who is now perusing Mphil she was my mentor there. I admired her a lot and she loved me soo much. Whenever I encountered with any kind of confusions she was ready with her solutions. She once asked me are you happy in what you are doing, I said no then she said do something that makes you happy even if it is a tiny job.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
