Remarks

College is great and experience, learning what it offers to its students is exceptional in its own way. We feel proud and privileged that we got an opportunity to learn from this wonderful institute.

Entrance Preview

JBIMS part time courses has there own entrance aptitude test. A candidate need to clear that exam to apply for admission.JBIMS is one of the best business school in India and its located in commercial hub so that was the main reason to apply for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Overall course structure is good. Regular MBA course is divided into 6 semesters over the period of three years for part time courses as there is limitation in lecture duration. Last year course is completely focused on projects and research. Guest lectures are also been conducted in college to provide guidance to students for research.

Internships Opportunities

For part time courses college doesn't provide internship as all the students are working class people so they don't require internship.

Placement Experience

4

There is no placement for part time courses. For full timers there is 100% placement and average package is 16lac p.a JBIMS has great market value and it's huge brand so if student gets admission in this college then he/she doesn't need to worry about the job

College Events

4.5

There are lot of extra curricular activities takes place in college. There is an executive committee in college which takes care of all the activities in college and it's an independent commitee. Major events are pratyaksha which is annual event, Sayonara which is sent off event for last year students. Alongside these they are lot of conferences and sports events organised in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure for part time courses is very reasonable. Fees ranges from 50k to 60k per year which is very low as compared to other colleges. College also notifies students well in advance so that students can make arrangements.. The best part in fees structure is that college doesn't charges any hidden charges or ask for money during the mid time of the course.once you paid the fees then you don't need to worry about the money part for rest of the year. This fees is inclusive of examination fees so students doesn't need to pay extra after every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know about any loan facility. This information can be shared by concern person from the administration department of college.

Campus Life

4

JBIMS has gender equality, and ratios is 60:40 with males in majority. But branches like HR has females in majority. College conducts lot of workshops on trending topics or technologies which will change the course of the world like artificial intelligence, digital money. College also supports entrepreneurship. There is an event called Bizorion which basically aims at developing entrepreneurship within each and every student of JBIMS. In this event students present there ideas and student with unique idea will get funding to start up there own organisation isn't that great?

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel facility available. College is located in south Mumbai where space is major constraints so college doesn't provide hostel facilities to students. College management is planning to shift to bigger campus is Kalina near santa cruz to allocate more students and start new courses. We hope this new campus will surely have hostel facilities for students.

Alumni/Alumna

JBIMS has distinct advantage over other colleges is it's alumni. JBIMS has huge alumini network and best part is all alumini members are connected with each other and ready to help.

Exam Structure

Part time courses has total six semester over the time span of three years. Each semester has 5subjects. Every subject carries 100 marks out of which 60 marks is for written exams and 40 marks for internal exams. Student needs to pass both the exams individually.

Admission

Admission process starts with written exams which consist of MCQs based on logical reasoning, language and current affairs followed by GD. Candidates overall marks will be average of marks scored in each of the test. For part time courses two years work experience is mandatory for admission. So if candidate has worked for renowned organisation then work experience will help them admission as college gives preference to students with work experience in great organisation.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of JBIMS are majorly it's alumni, which is great advantage. JBIMS has huge list of successful alumni and it's a great feeling and experience to learn from the best. Lectures in JBIMS are not conducted in conventional fashion, instead it's fun interactive session where you interact and learn a lot of new things and gain knowledge through discussions.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
