- Student centric approach is what i liked best about the college, they have an active student body called as the SSG which stands for Student Self Governance, it is the prime body of HITAM that is involved with the management for decision making.
- Finally i like how teh coollege invests a lotof time on ensuring that students meet the industry employebility factor, we have regular sessions on carrer development and placements
- I love how approachable everone inn the colllege is whenever i needed any sort of assiatnace from anyone i was never denied, even if they are an Hod or a Dean or a Director, evevyone at the college is helpful and ever willing to suppport students.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities can be improved altough there are sufficent measures being taken
- we have a large sports ground that can be paid more attention
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am studying is dictated by JNUTH, whereas my juniors are the Autonomous batch, therefore, their course structure is different than ours and much more improved. The faculty is well versed with the subjects and try to come up with innovative pedagogies to help students learn and understand better. All exam dates are announced beforehand and rarely is there any deviation.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no campus job as such that students can do to help with their fees, although a few students re working as interns with the college it is not an apprenticeship. There are several scholarship oppurtunities, few of which can be availed directly from the common application of colleges o TS EAMCET, beyond this the college regularly informs about other services and schemes related to scholarships.
Campus Life
The campus life in HITAM i very diffrent from other collegges here students have much more autnomy over how they at to do thier daily activities tehre are over 2- active clubs in the collegge 3 NGOs and various internationally acclaimmed student chapters. We have Toatmasters, Google Deveoper Student Club, IEEE chapter and many more. THere are also clubs for [articular exams such as GATE, GRE etc. The college annual fest is called; EYSIAN and it hhappens in April, The college has variouus tech fests so itis hard to pin oint only one.
Admission
I applied through the EAMCET exam, you a apply for it after finishing class 12th. the form is available online. After getting your scores, there is a common portal for college applications that you have to go through with where you can fill in all details of your interested colleges and branches after which according to your marks, rank a college is allowed, there are sometimes two phases of allotment, so you can give your new college list again
