Everything About IIHT Varanasi.

Basically I taken admission in this course because I have some interest in textile. And also for job opportunity because there is much chances that you will get job after doing this course. The institute have more then 500 students in a college. The faculty member are highly educated and friendly to the students so that students can easy interact with faculty. There is a 3 internal examination and 1 external examination in each semester. The duration of each semester is 5 months.

After 2 semester and 4 semester students have to do internship in company and get to know about the industry. This is non paid internship. College provides you many companies for internship and also students are itself decided for company.

After 5 semester students are eligible for placement. Every year many companies came to the campus for placement. The highest package in the college is 5 lakh per annum in Raymond campany. More than 50% students are get placement every year. But other students are who don't get placement are go for the higher education.

This is a government college. So the fees is very convenient. 8200 per year. And also government provides stipend to the students. That is For UP students: 1250 from state government and 1250 from Central government total 2500 per month. And for other states students only central government stipend will be provided that is 1250 per month.

The life in the college is the best. There is always some events will be organised in the campus. Every year there is an annual sports week and annual function. And parties for freshers and farewell for the senior will be organised every year. There is a big library in the campus were more then 2000 books are available. There is also very communities in the college regarding college policy and infrastructure.

There is both boys and girls hostel in the campus. More then 200 rooms are available in the both hostels. In the room you will get one bed, one table and chair and also one almirah. The food is not so good in the hostel mess but as compared to other hostel food are better. If you want hostel then you have to take form at the time of admission.

Eligibility for diploma in handloom textile and technology is class 10th passed. The admission will be taken on the basis of merit. The admission form will be provided on the official sites of the college and also in the local area newspaper. Application form is free of cost. There is reservation for OBC and ST/SC classes. There is also reservation for another states students like Jammu Kashmir, ladakh, uttarakhand, etc.
