Life in Campus

I have spent my best time in this college.in winter the stairs of the college was filled with flowers. And that thing is practiced till now.it looks awesome.and the best thing is that no body touched the trees.

The college has a historical legacy. The faculty members were highly educated and they are good teachers also. Along with that the college library attracted me the most, because of its collection of various books.i just wanted to be a part of this great institution.Am glad that I can say proudly that I am Californian.

There are 5faculty members during 2011-2013. Teachers divided the whole syllabus between them.there are departmental library also.from which we can take books in every week.that was the great facility for the students like us.along with the syllabu, teachers encouraged us in research area also.evey year they organised a special conference.where students can read their unique research paper by Their own choice.that was most interesting part in my college days.that practice of presenting papers helped me a lot in my research days.some times they had shown us some historical pictures, documentary, cinema etc. to encourage us in that topic.i appreciate those initiatives which build me slowly slowly.

There were some job roles which can be secure according to the UGC norms.one should have to go through the right procedure set by UGC. For professorial post one should have NET or SET qualified.

There were held some campus interviews.in which big companies were come to select candidates to give jobs .these companies were mostly private companies.but for govt job there were no facility.that is a huge lacuna of that college.they should prepare students for govt job also.

Every year college foundation Day was celebrated.in that program teachers students were both participated.christmas Carroll was also celebrated in the college.there were 5days long union fest, which called calidonia.in that program celebrity artists came nd perform on the stage.

It's a government college.studnt have to pay only 75 rupees per month.which is much less than the other private colleges.studnts have to pay that total money once a year.before taking the admission in each year.along with that there were exam fee, refundable library fee also.

There were scholarship for the needy students.who were poor but relented they were given that scholarship facility.

In our department there are same ratio in girls and boys.there are no gender discrimination in our college.evey body was open minded and they didn't show any extra politeness or any extra privileges to the girls.for them all are friends.but there were discipline also.we could not use our cell phone in the college campus except common room nd canteen.evry years students union organised a extra curricular day.on this day there were various competition on photography, drawing, writing, singing, dancing etc.that day was real fun for us.winners were given prizes and Medels.college politics was also there as every other college have.but I didn't take part in this.so I cannot say anything on that.but it didn't hamper our educational system.

Hostels were near our college.i don't know much about the hostel facility as I didn't stay there.but I hard that it's not so good not so bad.but there were friendly atmosphere between the people who stayed there.food quality was good.students had to share rooms.

Our seniors were always helpful.when ever we need, they were there to help us.some times they suggested books to read or some times they helped us to prepare notes.

There were 3 University exams or final exams.for that big exams teachers had taken class tests in every month.there were 100 marks college test before the final exam.by which teachrs tried to prepare us for a good result.nd it really worked.who could not get the pass marks in that test exam they were not allowed to seat on the final exam

I applied for History honours in this college. I filled the application form in non history back ground seats,as I don't have history in my H.S level.then they published a merit list according to the marks which we have got in H.S.a counseling season was taken by the teachers according to our merit list.and I was selected from non history back ground.which make me happy still now.then we have to deposit the admission fee.and by this the whole admission procedure was completed.

Teachers were too good.they were like family.they took care of each and every student. We can check our answers personally by them.in their tight schedule they never denied to listen our problems.they were available on pH also..till now they guide us in every step of our life.they were friend philosopher and guide.
