College Review

College is good for practical and research aspect but very bad in college campus life there is no basket ball complex till yet. location is extreme outside of indore that you cant even bunk the classes. Apart from that if you start living here just make your self busy with something so that you can really survive over there.

MPPET, i scored 65 marks, I opt it because it was available at 65 marks. Also This college has very good image for mechanical engineering as this college support young and fresh minds and their potential for all there creativity.

College management provides a lot of facilities and funding for research & engineering technology. College provided near about 80000 rupees for funding my major projects. Many automotive events like SAEBAJA,SAE Supra, SAE Student Formula Japan, SAE Efficycle, etc. Many Startups and funding was initiated by college.

No, not exactly but college has few tie up with industries, also they have tie ups with IIT Indore. but only 3-4 students in a complete batch gets the internship, not everyone.

out of 190 students only few 8-9 were placed in the campus of mechanical engineering. Campus drive is more successful for CS departments. well if its a talk about the package the average package is of 2.5 to 3.5 lacs per anum. There is no sure shot safe future in terms of placement from this college.

yeah there are many cultural and technical events are being organised by college. Annual function, many industrial visits, technical visits, dance competitions, singing competitions, etc. They are not really much big as campus is not that big but still its enjoyable. Many funding are provided by the college so that students can attend various national and international events.

Its feasible if you are entering through TFW quota. Tution fee waver scheme makes engineering a less costly. Without Tution fee waver scheme college fee not very much costly as compared to top 10 other colleges of indore but still 72000 rs per year is not worth for this college.

Yeah university (RGPV) provide scholarships for SC/ST/OBC candidates, and also few merit scholarship is provided for topper but only expect merit scholarship if you are really studious.

CAMPUS LIFE: There is nothing like campus life because campus is very very small. You cant even bunk the classes because environment over there is like boarding school right now. It is just normal small college where only studious guyz can be happy because college supports you financially if you innovative ideas with you. There nothing like freshers and farewell in mechanical engineering. There were only 10 girl admissions among 190 male admissions in mechanical in my batch (2012-13). yeah party life is good for CS/ EC branches because there are girls with whom you can go in batch party or some party like a couple but there is shortage of girls in mechanical (hahaha).

There is no hostel facilities and Canteen food is nice. Food is the quality food with affordable prices. canteen space provided by college is also good. Students coming from different corners of country has to take some accommodation by their own, college takes no responsibility for student accommodations.

yeah CDC department (Career development cell) takes care of all the alumni and every year there is alumni meet where all the seniors are invited.

It was like normal thing, because every is casual for exams. There is no real time hard studies in any college of R.G.P.V college. Any student can clear exams by one or two night study. Students always prefer to study from Shivani (a brief book for clearing exams with few important questions) rather than choosing some authentic books.

There are few important processes for the admission, such as wait for the admission slot date. Document verification process. Fee deposit day, Document attestation, etc. All the documents which include : 1. Personal Identification proof. 2. Address Verification. 3. Voter ID 4. School Migration 5. 10th & 12th mark sheet. 6. Presence of two witness.

Faculties are quite young they are not very much experienced. So theoretical studies at my college was not satisfactory. Their every faculty teaches us the syllabus in terms of scoring marks and clearing exam. Also Marking policy is not very much good. Their are a lot of blunders in exam sheet assessment from RGPV.
