Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for this course for my future career as a commerce student I have future plans to do MBA for which BCOM is considered the easiest and most genuine subject. There are good numbers of faculties in comparison to the number of students and most of the faculties are having good knowledge and are highly qualified with their recruitment on basis of cracking jrf and other exams The teaching method of the faculty is not so different and extraordinary and is like general schools and colleges. Term exams are usually conducted on time with a delay of approx 1 month and for the course, I had opted that if a student studies for 1 week on a serious note then he can crack it.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Companies like Tech Mahindra, indigo, and adobe came for telecom experts etc. Companies like triveni etc came for marketing experts. Companies like Deloitte etc came for its experts etc. Since I didn't get any project so I do not have much idea regarding that.

Placement Experience

0.5

From final years students become eligible for campus placement And some big and small companies visit our college like triveni almirah, sapwood, axis Bank etc The highest package which I know is around 8 lakh from Btech in the IT sector And the percentage of students getting placement is very less and is about 5-10 per cent. After getting my degree I will prepare for the cat exams for getting enrolled in the top IIMS.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees have slightly increased in past years but it is still lower in comparison to other universities. I got a scholarship from govt of uttar pradesh and the scholarship amount I received was slightly more than the fee of my college so I can say I am pursuing my graduation free of cost some companies arrived for a job for which I had given an interview too but I don't have to get into corporate before completing MBA so I didn't focus much on that.

Campus Life

3

Every year fresher parties and farewells are conducted by juniors and seniors and sometimes like once in year fest are conducted but their quality is not as like other great and renowned colleges. There are lots of books in the library but most of those are so old and are considered not worthy. The classroom consists of a smart board but is used rarely with general furnishings like a fan, light, chairs etc. There are generally some social groups run by students for social welfare like Disha etc.

Admission

Eligibility was that student must be 10+2 passed with government authorised school after that We need to fill out a form on the official website of ddu before 2 months after which a separate entrance exam was conducted for each stream on basis of vacancies cut off was released after the entrance exams for each category there are different cut offs as in any other government institutions. As a student, there is no specific need for changes in the admission process but there is a need for a slight increase in speed in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
