I would say this would be the best things that happened to me in my Life fun with learning is the word i can say.

Went through CAT, scored 98.5% tile NITIE was a renowned college in the industrial circle and thus one of the choices.

Was more operations centric but still had a good number of subjects in marketing and finance thus you would never feel that something is getting missed out.

The college internship process gets finished within a week, atleast in my times the stipends offered ranged from 10K p.m to 100K p.m depending on the day you got placed.

The mix of companies visiting the campus is quite good, in terms of functions, or geography if you a finance geek, then freshers get better options to choose as Lateral are more consulting and IT driven.

College holds an annual fest which is celebrated well there are number of student committees and Industry cells that keep on organising events on day to day basis.

Fee structure is very nominal atleast in my days it would rank as one of the cheapest MBA colleges in India ( top 15 ) the hostel fees is very minimal and majority of the activites get financed through the unofficial student fund.

A lot of banks offer educational loans at different rates ( change from time to time ) other than I dont know of any Scholarship that came into picture in my time.

The college provides you a lot of freedom to participate in events and contests at the inter college level especially considering the classroom sessions are not that hectic plus you have a good industry interaction because of strong alumni visiting the campus.

College used to have 5 hostel and each student used to get one room for his/herself i think now it has ramped up a new hostel with higher capacity and better amenities which were not that bad considering what we were paying as hostel fees.

It has a strong alumni base in the supply chain and the manufacturing sector however lately lot of NITIEians have crossed good places in IT, Finance and Marketing sectors.

Follows a similar strcuture to other colleges, however more emphasis is onthe written examination than either case studies or practical experiences.

College faculty is pretty well versed with operations course, atleast that i can say the profs are good and very well connected to the industry as such.
