Management was co-operative and helpful but at times they become negligent when it comes to providing equal oppurtunities to girls in sports. Some politics was also there in managment for which students have to suffer. Overall experience of 4 years in the college was good.

Overall the teachers are co-operative but at times becomes strict. Course curriculum is good but there is more focus on theory instead of practical. Very good atmosphere for preparing for competitive exams for jobs. 100% job placement when i joined the college. Ragging was not allowed . For research purpose it is not that good.

No, it doesn't provide internship. No company came. Students have tro do internship in other companies. some companies provide stipent but most of them doesn't.

Placement was good. Adobe, Infosys, TCS, Mahindra Satyam, Syntel, Lohia Starlinger, DSCL, JP etc. companies came for campus placement. They offered arount 3-7 lacs/annum. About 350 students were placed out of 450. Mostly students qualified for GATE in 3rd year only and many prepared for PSUs.

Many events were celebrated:- 1. Cultural Fest for 3 days was celebrated with many events including fashion shows both inter and intra college. 2. Fine Arts events were celebrated for 3 days 3. sports events both inter college and intra college. Prabhanjan was inter college sports meet of BIET Jhansi.

Since it was government college of UPTU, it was financially aided by UP Government. But now it has become autonomus college. That time fee structure was feasible with scholarship to students whose parents' income is less than 2 lacs per annum. Also mess fess was only around 10,000 per annum.

Scholarship was given to students whose parents' income is less than 2 lacs per annum. In this scholarship full fee is refunded except hostel and mess fees.

There were lots of extra curricular activities. Gender ratio was also good. In mechanical also there were 10 girls out of total 40 students. Time to time many extra curricular activities were organised to help students for their overall grooming. They were grommed in all the fields like studies, sports, cutural, literary skills

Hostel facilities were good. Earlier there were some problems related to water but later they were resolved. Mess is managed by the representative of students only, therefore food was good. Hostel was clean and maintained. There was single room for each student.

Initially light ragging was there for better interaction with seniors. Cross ragging was not allowed. Seniors were very helpful and co-operative. Now also they are in different parts of the world but are helpful.

Exam structure was transparent. Centre for examination fals in the college itself but copies were checked by external faculty of UPTU. 2 sessional exams before each semester were taken and after semester practical and viva were taken. Toatal 8 semesters in 4 years were there.

I have given entrance exam for Uttar Pradesh Technical University Entrance Examination. My rank was 8510 in general category and 810 in girls category and after that counselling was done in HBTI kanpur and from there i was alloted Mechanical Engineering in this college.
