Hostels are one of the best and you can call it par IITs. Hostel has uninterrupted power supply and high speed broadband connection. In third year and final year you get your individual rooms, which would be a really big one and three-sharing in first two years. Food is as good as the mess secretary and managing body for the same.

Alumni do feel nostalgic about college so if the college forums do address it properly they can really be benefited by the vast experience of Alumni.

BIET Jhansi is an autonomous institution which held its regular class tests and assignments and one final exam at end of every semester. Apart from that we have labs vivas and projects which would have marks at different levels and structure as per the specific branch of engineering.

You need to take the entrance examination and according to your marks and rank in your category appear for counselling at you zonal center e.g. I had my process at IERT, Allahabad. There you fill your preference of course and college in detail, and you would be allotted the one as per your rank and candidates above and below your rank and interplay of their preferences.

College has one of the best faculty in civil engineering department and mechanical department in state. The civil engineering department is in collaboration with IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur for academic and technical programs. Though can't be boast the same for other departments, but the scene not so great anywhere else except IITs and top NITs.
