Placement and study

There is one bad remark is that if you want go out from the college in college time then you have to submit an application .

I gave RPET i.e. Rajasthan pre engineering test. Its a state exam. Total marks of this exam is 300 and i got 240 marks. I choose this because of placement and study. At my time there was 30-35 companies visited for placement like infosys,ibm,tcs,accenture,tech mahindra etc. Environment of college is also good. Facilities are there very supportable. I am from Rajasthan and college rank is 1 in state. So that's why i choose this.

I had choose computer science and faculties of computer science are superb. There is a library with more than 1000 books. There is a program called NCTCE .its a national conference where you can submit your research paper and good thing is that SKIT is the only one college who will win this program.

My college did not provide any internship. My college is rule that you should find any company for internship and it must be only 45 day. Not more that or not less than 45.

At my time there was 30-35 companies visited for placement like infosys,ibm,tcs,accenture,tech mahindra etc. Almost 80% people are selected from college placement itself. Even, you get call from college if you are pass out and did not get any job. So placement wise its so good.

There are a lot of events are celebrate in my college. The biggest event is called SKIT parvah. Its 4 days event where stunts , coding, chess, Counter strike etc events done. There is a toastmaster club where you can improve your communication skills.

when we are talking about college fee you always want to go with cheaper fee. But my college fee is 53000 per year excluding hostel fee and dress fee. You have to pay 6000 for college uniform. This is only one time. and 5000 caution which will refund when you passed out.

SKIT will not provide any scholarship or loans. Yeah you get loans from any bank because skit is good college and has good reputation.

Environment of college is so good. You will find a lot of activities there like robotics , sports , labs. When we talked about gender ration then its 60:40 for male female. i.e. male are greater than female. and yes there is no ragging. If any one take you can complain against this.

When we talked about hostel facilities , its average. Food quality is not good. Rooms are not ok ok . So i suggest not worth of money because they ask 50000 as a hostel fee. So go with external pg or take one or 2 bhk flat on rent. I stayed in hostel first year then i left.

Yes. Senior students are very helpful when we comes in final year because its about placement year.

There are total 8 semester. Every semester for 6 month i.e. you have to give exam after 6 months. and there is two mid term exam in between this 6 months. i.e. total 16 midterm exams. So there is total 24 exams in four year. 20% goes from midterm exams and reaming you have to got from main exam.

I gave RPET i.e. rajasthan pre engineering test in march 2010 and result got declared in may 2010. I went through the counselling and counselling result declared in starting of June. I got admission in July 1st week.I went in college and took the admission form from the administrator and filled up and submit. They asked fee of 52000 and 5000 caution money. I gave and got admitted.

The faculty of college are so good. not only one or two faculty are good but 99% faculty of the college are superb. You can contact them anytime over a call or personally you can meet. There is one teacher Nidhi Jain, no words for her. If we need any help , we called her. she always ready for help.
